I'm new to making wallpapers (as you will see)
I would like some advice or ideas on how to make this wallpaper better

Firstly, you'll need to be more careful in your extraction because it's eating into the outline of the character (see her right arm). As for her hair strands, just stroke the character with black outlines will do the trick but you must scrutinize it closely to look out for any parts that needs manual cleaning up.

Clouds. Don't use the cloud filter. Use stock photos (i.e. real life cloud photos) and creatively apply filters to make it look more like an anime cloud than a realistic cloud (the cut-out filter is one of those recommended filters to use depending on the situation).

Grass. Don't use the grass brush. It's been overused in field backgrounds up to the point of cheesiness and will only pull your wallpaper down. Try a different scenery. Or if you can't, why not do a simplistic abstract background considering the art style. Animewallpapers.com do have some really good simple wallpapers for pointers.

Why is she up to her waist in grass anyway!? No offence but I see this way too often these days -_-;
I think Dias pretty much summed it all up, but it's her right arm which has suffered from extraction, not her left :P

I agree. the grass at waist level is so not...well, seem strange. and also i dont think that the pic goes with the dark BG, i think it need to be adjusted in level (or brightness and contrast).
well, that just my opinion thoug.

^ ^nice wallpaper but i think you should add an effect or more colors to the background.i agree,the outline of Risa is a bit odd,try to fix it.the background can use more colors or needs a bighter background.^ ^good luck!it still looks nice so far!

Hmm, extraction needs some work and the grass is too high like everybody else said. why is there grass floating in the air?

Yea the extaracting looks like it ate on the arm , but besides that , it looks really good . But it also seems that maybe , another character should be by her side . But thats just my oppinioun . But besides that . It looks good , just go with what you think looks good .
