I was browsing on Ningen's PSD page and I found this blobles picture of Rozen Maiden. So I started to make a wallpaper with it. Tell me what you think of it.

It looks kinda random :/.

I think tonally and colour-wise the wall doesn't really suit the chara or the series. You're generally best picking your colour schemes out from the scan itself.

Well... my intention was not to suit the anime or whatever with color. The main purpose was to set her in a magic girl type. I'm certainly sure that you saw the magic-flux-like-motion next to her hands... and the whirl, that was the first thing I wanted to show, to give some magic with this little girl even if it doesn't suit the série.

I think what trismugistus was saying was more like the blue does NOT work...

examining the characters expression, and knowing nothing of the series, i can tell you magical girl was a big mistake...

if you wish to do that please use a happier looking character with a less vacant expression. the "magic-flux-like-motion" is too solid and looks just like you dragged a brush across her hand...try making spaklies or using a a few sparklie brushes.

but color is what kills it in the end...notice how she is mostly wearing dark color, perhaps you could try for a bit of "black magic" lol.
