Shop-hater, what an interesting word.
I happen to love shopping, and the only reason I attend school is because there is no mall within 200 miles of where I live. Otherwise I would skip everyday to go shopping :)
I love all kinds of shopping, clothes, book, food, tools, and online.
Does anyone here share my passion or wish my material pastime dead? Does anyone have a fav thing to buy? Or do you just window shop (wich I do 50% of the time).
I realize that yes, there is chaos all over the world...but maybe it would be nice to have a lite discussion.

I like shoping by my self. Though my brother and sister always come with me. I window shop most of the time, but I do but I do buy sometimes. I like going to viedo game shops or anime shops or video shops that have anime. However I don't like shoping with my mom. She goes to all these clothes shops I always hate
I hate the actual act of shopping in a mall, store, etc. especially if I'm with my sister or other people who like shopping a little too much (in my opinion). I'm completely addicted to shopping online, though. Although, I hate clothes shopping in ANY form.
I make surgical strikes whenever I go shopping by myself or with friends. I know what I want before I go in, I get it, pay for it, and get out (unless a meal is on the schedule). With the wife however... I'm lucky to be out in a few hours.
I absolutely HATE shopping (rarity since I'm a girl), unless of course, its a bunch of gadgets, games, etc., and I'm in my mecca, then I'll go on a spree (even if I can't afford it, I'll just regret it later).
I like shopping, I hate shopping when I DON'T HAVE BIG MONEY. I MUST HAVE LOTS OF MONEY, when I shop clothing I like to buy good clothing, when I buy computer i like to buy good expensive stuff. shopping is awesome. but usually i dont like it becuase i dont really have money lol.
Yup I love shopping.. fer me.. the house.. decorations.. books. I just like shopping for other people's gifts and stuff. I find it sooo hard, how am I suppose to know what they want or like?! I like to spend money :/ If I feel bored or sad.. or jes down fer some reason; shopping, buying stuff will make me feel better O_O;; kinda materialistic i kno :/
Depends on the stuff. Most of the time, I hate clothings shopping. I only buy them when I need them.
But I love to buy CDs and stuff of stuff I like. Sure I can download music but it feels good to buy the music I like.

I love shopping. However, I tried not to go because whenever I go, I would buy something. I shop for clothes, book, make up (which I never wear). I like to go on ebay since they have a lot of stuffs I can't find outside. Once I buy, I can't stop. So it is better for me not to go. My record was I didn't go to the mall for more than 3 months. Acutally I didn't buy new clothes since I tried to save money for my business.
Where I live there are malls everywhere. At least there are 3 big malls within 10 miles from home. Sometimes I buy clothes online sometimes not because when I buy clothes online, I need to pay for shipping and can't try.
I usually wait until the end of the season when they have a lot of sales then I buy.

Sometimes, i'm too lazy to go shopping. and i never get to go shopping in the stores that i want because my older sister always complains. sometimes shopping is boring to me.

It depends on what I'm shopping for. I used to like clothes shopping, but now I don't really care what I wear anymore.
I also don't like to shop alone, but when I shop with friends, they shop so so so slow! How can you spend an hour in one little shop at the mall. I could go to 5 stores in an hour.
I enjoy shopping for food, entertainment items?, and so on, but anything but clothes. Even then, if I'm with a friend and they take so long, I get unpatiant.

Err i dont rly care i usualy go shopping knowing what i go shopping for its not osmething i go crazy bout like omg its shopping to day WAAAAH dunno its nice i suposewhen you find something that you like whitout rly wanting it whit friends or not
I agree with Starrdust. I don't like to shop alone but when I am with my friends. Totally totally agree on this point, GOD they are so slow. Why is that? I spent 1 hour in 5 shops. They spent 1 hour in 1 shop. I always ask myself what they look for in the shop. God, it is the same thing. So later on, I decide to go shopping by myself. It is a little lonely but it is better than wasting my time.
I would never ever go shopping with my bf. Kami-sama....that is the worst mistake ever. They get tired easily, they compliance, they just.....not in the mood to go to shopping. So whenever I go, I leave my bf at home.

I love shopping. xD My dad hates it, though, because of the outrageous amounts of money I spend. I prefer shopping alone because then, I can be as slow or fast as I want. Also, not all of my friends like shopping (at least for clothes) as much as I do, and they'll get bored. And then I have to take care of that. So very much a hassle sometimes. If we're just hanging out and happened to hit some shopping centers, though, then it's more okay. Because the main point of that day would be just to see each other, not to shop til we drop.
