Reading minds...would you like it?
What would you do if you could read everyones mind? i think it would be cool but id get sick of it. i mean yea you could read the mind of your enemy, gf, crush, anyone...i would be a cop or war hero or w/e lol it would be awsome...but then again wouldntit take any of the fun outa life...i mean you would know everything...all the surprises of life would be gone...it would be boring right?

Reading womens mind would be something that would be the grace of man. It would let us allow to understand woman a little more. I mean it's hard enough since they aren't exactly going to spill their emotions out for you. So if you can read their mind and they don't know. You'll be able to help em out. Or you could be an asshole and not help em out. But use that to your advantage and hurt them.
Well i would like to read minds that would be pretty awesome. find out secrets about people and blackmail them or something or find out if someone is lieing. also to find out who they like. that would be pretty great and i could do alot of things with that but i cant list any of them right now because i cant think of anything else except what i already told u.
I agree with RathNatakaru (I don't think you could use a-hole in this forum so be careful). reading minds has its pros and cons. you'll know what people "really" think about you. you'll know what other people say behind your back.

I don't think it would be a good thing... it would be almost like going into someone personal life.. it's realy none of our business what an other person thinks.. even if sometimes we would like to know...

What if you read your parents' minds only to find out that you were an accident? What if you read your friends' minds to find out all of the things they dislike about you, but never talk about? What if you knew the criticism of people in public who thought to themselves "His shirt is so disgusting." "Wow, she has such stupid hair." "Loser..." Of course there are a lot of other bad cases, but those are the ones that I can think of right off the top of my head. I wouldn't want to read minds if I had to go around "reading" things like that all day...

Bah, I don't like the idea of reading minds. It takes all the fun out of life. Like being forced to take a test with the answers already written down. It's pointless.

Well..now that you mention it. I remember this scene from Bruce Almighty (BTW there's a second movie coming up for this) Bruce hears the prayers of all the people in his community in his mind right after he woke up from bed. I wouldn't be able to take that much voices in my head in early morning. It would drive me nuts.

In personal and family terms, no. Probably because I highly respect my family and friends privacy and I would never stoop into doing something low like reading minds for no reason at all and just doing it to be a fool. My mother has always thought me never to think of mind reading, because it always was the type to cause havoc if it were to be real. But if it was nothing to family terms or anything like that, and I was over 18, I'd of course, use it for gambling ^^ But I'd only use that skill when "playing" in casinos, not generaly gambling because I am flunking in financial debt or something like that. I'd also mind read when it came to the lottery but I'd only do it every 3 years, since the lottery money may be sure to run out XD

Well, i agree with DaPlatypus, i think we would read those kind of things from our friends' mind, and i think that our mind is the most private place for everybody, and we should not trespass it, a person will only tell his/her feelings and thoughts to people he/she believed in.
but if i could control this 'power', meaning i can turn this power on and off adn use it only to a certain people (so i wouldn't have to hear every mind out there, i could just pick one and read it.), it would be quite tempting.

I think it will be interesting and funny! But usually It's gonna annoying you as much as it could! Like when you try to sleep but then you hear somebody out their, down stait thinking something, you'll have a headache about it! And it'll always appear in your mind you can't sold it out how to make it dissapear!
