Water or Coke
Water
1. We all know that water is important but I’ve never seen it written down like this before.
2. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. (Likely applies to half world population)
3. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.&
4. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one’s metabolism as much as 3%.
5. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a U- Washington study.
6. Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.
7. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.
8. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.
9. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.
Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?
COKE
1. In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.
2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in two days.
3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the “real thing” sit for one hour, then flush clean The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.
4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil
dipped in Coca-Cola.
5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of
Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.
6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.
7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, Remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.
8. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.
For Your Info:
1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its Ph is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days. Phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis.
2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the Hazardous material place cards reserved for highly corrosive materials.
3. The distributors of coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years!
Now the question is, would you like a glass of WATER
or COKE ?

I never ask for soda at restaurants anymore...let alone at the family dinner table.
Soda has too many bubbles @@.

All the claims of Coke dissolving various things (steaks, bolts, teeth etc.) have been debunked completely and are untrue. Go to http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/cokelore.asp and see for yourself.
With that said, it is definitely unhealthy to drink nothing but Coke all the time, but it's not some sort of superacid that will kill you or anything like that. As with anything, drink it with moderation and you'll be fine.
I'll admit I don't drink anywhere near the amount of water I should, though, due to its complete lack of flavor... I do, however, drink plenty of milk/juices to (hopefully) make up for it.

Can´t choose since I love both water and Coke, and I don´t really care what the facts says about them the most important thing for me is that I like them.

I drink plenty of water, but sometimes I get tired of drinking water and I'd drink a can or glass of Diet Pepsi. When I was in Germany, I drank lots of water and juice. It's too bad juice is more expensive here in Hawaii.
Oh! Here's another fact, the number 1 cause of obesity in America is drinking soda.

Very interesting facts.
I like water but, sometimes a coke is more refreshing. So both is cool.

Thanks for posting, and that coke debunking site doesn't debunk much, example a tooth dissolving overnight? obviously that's not true, but the site doesn't say the tooth will not dissolve at all if left in coke. Learn to decipher the disinformation.
GundamQueen awesome post!!
On a personal note, I hardly drink anything that I can't make myself using organic ingredients.

Water, prehaps I've got to face that I really was addict to coke... badly, coke sux don't drink it :S
I really like both water and coke but I try to drink a lot more water than coke. I usually only drink coke if I don't have anything else to drink. Even though water is good for you drinking too much might cause some damage to a person's body. I'm not a scientist or anything but I remember some facts that I've read in the newspaper. For example while exercising drinking water does not replenish "electrolites" (I think that's what there called) and it wouldn't keep you hyrdated. Drinking sports drinks helps replenish some of the things that are lost when you sweat. Also you shouldn't drink really cold water when you exercise too, I've read that a person actually died from drinking really cold water too fast to cool down. Drinking plenty of water is always good for you but I suggest to be careful and don't over do it. I'm not too sure of how the saying goes but I think it's kinda like "Too much of a good thing can turn out to be a bad thing."
I hate water, they have no taste in them, its way to plain for me! but i hate coke or any soda even more, in my whole life i never liked pop! too much bubbles in them and in fizzz so dam much! and when you drink too much the fizz goes up your nose! ewww >__<
For me Water is more healthy Coke is adictive and it's made of chemical sustances. I prefer water but cold and without gas.

Coke for the win i love coke
Mythbusters "busted" all those coke myths, some are true while MOST are false.
Personally, PEPSI. coke tastes weird, even if its cold it still doesn't taste "cold" more like, it tastes thick. I drink pepsi at least once every 3 days most other times it's water. I just don't like that much sugar intake. Besides, water's where its at. Clear clean cool water.
