Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

I love both, instrumental and lyric, but it really depends on my mood which one I'm listening to...^^

Instrumental is only for wen you feel like words cant explain the things you have right now or just for easy listening. i think lyrical is for wen times you need some words in the room. i prefer both because it depends on the mood i am in. for most of the time, i listen to music with words. it makes you want to sing a lot and makes the day a bit better

Personally, I'd prefer lyrics, just because listening to instrumentals all day gets dull.. FOR ME. But some music you just can't put lyrics to them, ie- osts and classicals. in terms of expression, i think both types get the job done. Im gonna bank on people liking lyrics more though :p

Post-rock is probably one of my three favorite genres. Post-rock is, as someone mentioned, mostly instrumental.

I got into an argument with this kid I knew once. He claimed music had to have words to be good. I made him a mix CD with just instrumental music on it. He claimed he listened to it, but it was too boring. I'm sure he never put it in his CD player.

I like both, it just depends on my mood and the situation I'm in. When I read or study, I often use instrumental songs and at any other time, its a mixture of both. Im not too fussy bout the type of songs but in my collection, its all mostly ones with lyrics.

Well of course I like the music better than the lyrics cuz you can still be a band without a singer but you cant be a band without the band lol. Music is the most important part of a band to me. I do like lyrics tho.

I do love a good song without many lyrics. I also like songs with lyrics is other languages that I do not understand because it gives it a, for lack of any other description, good flow with the non-lyrical parts.

Instrumental or lyrical, I love both. But usually I also love hearing instrumental works that based on lyrical songs. Sometimes there are also anime instrumental music that are so good that I immediately love it as soon as I hear the first time, especially the original soundtracks works from the 3 famous Key games: Kanon, Air & Clannad.
Sometimes, I love listening to J-music, too especially the music that I've heard in the anime that I've watched, (despite the fact that I don't know Japanese, I still love them, partly because most of the time the voice of the female singers were so sweet & nice, which make me visualize a little beautiful anime girl is singing) XD

I like instrumental more than lyrical, but there are few instrumental songs that i find to be really good. so most of the music i have is lyrical. either way black metal lyrics aren't made to be understood, they blend into the background music. they sound nice but you don't actually understand them.

I prefer Lyrical over Instrumental. I love listening to lyrics and the stories behind them. Lyrics explain the meaning of the song unlike instrumental. As stated above, great artists and their songs would have no meaning if they didn't have their amazing lyrics with them.

It all depends, and I don't think that it does on what people are looking nowadays... well... mostly. Talking about myself, it all depends on the mood. Sometimes I listen to some guitarist, or maybe classics... or ambiental. Sometimes, when I am happy or in an active, plugged mood I listen to heavy metal or something like that. Many havey metal/hard rock songs have a strong message and sometime that's exactly the thing that helps you. So... it all depends (o_o) emoticon

I like a mix of both as long as there is more instrumental to it than lyrics. I also prefer songs with softer lyrics to them like the opening in Aria the Animation "Undine".

I often find myself liking more instrumentals. Most of the songs I have w/ lyrics are from bands like Bad Religion who have quite complicated lyrics.

If there's gonna be words in a song, be there to make us have some reaction to it; listening to the same thing from a different band gets old really fast. A lot of popular music is like that and it's kind of sad, it's better to blend in than be original.
