As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. This wallpaper was rejected and normally I would know why, or accept the fact happily lol, but this time I thought about it and just can't find out why it didn't make it through, take a look guys

The ONLY reason I can think of is that on the left side of the wallpaper it's a lttle empty? But I did that on purpose to really enhance the light and shadows

Well I would say it's empty, plain... those shadows and lights aren't realistic looking at all. Kunai and throwing stars on the table also look kind of stupid, they're floating in air?

I appreciate the 3D work, but it would be too dark for a wallpaper. Also, I don't think the logo should appear like that, it looks weird on the table.
