Ah! My Goddess

Ok I have been working on this for a while and am to the point I need comments/help. I don't like the rail on the balcony that much but I can't be too upset with it since it is from scratch anyway some help there would be nice. Also I am weary of the text so maybe some ideas there. Then just over all comments about the layout or blending (moon seems to stick out too much to me) would be helpful.

I really like the idea.. its a good start..
the only things that i like are the sky and the scan.. and everything else is a no-no.. that fence thing that you did is really cool.. but you still need to work on it.. put some shades.. some textures... and some colors on it.. the white mountains are fine with me.. but the green mountains killed the wallpaper.. its shape looks like a mountain.. but the color isn't.. i would stick with the snowy mountains.. the mountains are too sharp.. try blurring the sides a bit.. You should find a better font to use for your text.. the font doesn't look really good with this wallpaper..
the moon is too blurry.. you blurred it too much.. oh.. i just noticed.. the bottom part of the scan is cut off.. two thing to solve it.. draw the missing parts.. or move the scan down.. yepp.. good luck!!
and yea.. i really like the sky.. is that a stock photo ? or you did it urself with a tutorial?? if its a tutorial.. can you send me the link for the site?? thanks ^_____

Thanks for the comments, the stars are a tutorial but with a lot of modification. I used a tutoial someone gave me with the last wall I made and it gives a really good star field but it is a lot of work...the nebula took me a lot of practice and frankly it just happened to wind up looking good.
Here is the tutorial for that:

Also, I meant to fix the render...just slipped my mind. Thanks! Any suggested fonts as I have went through a lot of them.
As for the mountains....yeah...will try to modify them so all be snowy.

The whole BG is sort of too real for the scan and balcony that you used... I think that you could do better on the balcony. It just looks to cheep. Also the mountains in the front are too textured. They just look fake... and they don't match the ones in the distance. They are also to bright.
As for Belldandy, she just looks out of place on that balcony... You really need to fix the balcony... It's just not the same as the rest of the wallpaper. And as jrpjnoyako08 said you need to either move her down or redraw the clothing.

Hmm...terragen?what you can do...duplicagte the mountains, gaussian blur @ 12-24px. then set to overlay or another blending mode. it's too... "computer generated" right now. needs an organic feel...change the colour contrasts, etc...
Hey! I see that you've started another wallpaper again! ^_~ Glad to see that you've decided to make another one...And I see that you've used the tutorial I gave you again too! ^_^ Nice...The sky looks great...like usual ^_~
Yeah...sorry that I'm being a bit repetitive but...I'm going to have to agree with things that jrpjnoyako08 said...I agree to lose the green hills...looks like you used the clone tool just a bit too much...not to mention I think that the wallpaper would look better without them...but I'm just wondering...did you add the green hills to cover up for the bottom of the snowy moutains? Hmmm...if that's the case...I would try to move the balcony up...and maybe apply the black gradient thing to the bottom of the moutains...
As for the balcony...I think that you need to work on it a bit more like jrpjnoyako08 said...textures and shading would be nice...But I just have a suggestion...if you have the time ...maybe make it a bit more...elegant? Like this or something like this? It doesn't have to look EXACTLY like that...but a bit of a shape and some elegance wouldn't hurt...and you also don't need so many pillar things on the balcony...taking a few out wouldn't hurt...it looks a bit overcrowded right now...but definitely texture and shading would help...and also find something else for the top part of the balcony...a texture there would be good...that pattern that you used...I don't really like it...
As for the girl (Belldandy I'm guessing?) You...once again...have to complete the scan...but I've also noticed another thing...it seems that you've missed a part of the extraction...between the right tassel and her dress...part of the bg from the scan is still there...other than that...the rest of the extraction looks great! ^_^ But I'm thinking...maybe make her bigger?...so that she would be the main focus even more...I think have her head a little taller than the small moutian peak in the middle...so she would stand out more...
And yes...that would mean that you'd also have to make the balcony bigger as well to fit her size...that's where the detailing comes in ^_^ If you have a nice, detailed (with textures most likely...you could even add a design if you wish...just more work) balcony...the wallpaper would look really nice in the end! And of course you would want it to look nice right?
For the text...I'm not sure...I personally thinks it looks nice...but the one thing I will say is...your sig...you could leave it there if you want to...but if you do...I would pick a font that fits with the rest of the wallpaper...so that it doesn't look as awkward...
And this next part...it's just me being me...with all my perfectionism and detail...but on your snowy mountains...the light source is wrong...the light that shows on the moutains comes from in between the moutains...while your moon is on the left side...you could try to fix it...but that's your choice...
But I REALLY like the idea of this wallpaper...it looks SO pretty! I really can't wait for the result of this one too! ^_^ Work hard! Your efforts will definitely pay off in the end...I'm sure of it! ^_~
