This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

What do you think of Viacom being granted the allowance to view every single user and their viewing habits on YouTube?

Do you think it is right? Will you be deleting your YouTube account now?

I don't really care, what youtube has isn't illegal or anything, so why would I care if someone knows which videos I have watched? Unless you are embarrassed by the videos that you are watching, I don't understand why you would care if someone has a list of videos you've watched.

Does anybody ever care??... Well obviously not. Especially if it is a controlling measurement, how ould any Internet surveilance police company ever be able to control billions and trillions of Private Intrernet Users and their surfing habits. That is freaking impossible, you know.

They try to arrest people downloading music and blabla bla, but still a lot of people are doing that...

In short than why don't they arrest everybody around the world then?

I really don't see a reason to be scared of it, unless you are embarrassed to see what people what videos you have been watching. For me personally, I could really care less, because I really have nothing to hide and I'm not embarrassed about what I watched.

I'm sorry. I forgot all of you are interested in only chatting about 'Whether or not people are crying on the street', easy controversial topics such as sexuality and abortion that have been debated to death and are easy when you have no brain of your own and you need to mimik other's thoughts, which girl or boy is your latest crush and what your dream job of the future might be.

Most of your comments highlight the fact that you either can't read or can't comprehend words above a fourth grade level. God forbid any of you think about the bigger picture and what this says about our future or the fact that our privacy and rights are slowly being taken away. It doesn't matter really. The sheeple of the world deserve a slaughtering.

^ what she said, unfortunately in a reality bashing way. (ouch too, somewhat hurt)

I am not too much showing any indication of a need to worry. Fact is, Google has been doing it, they brought over youtube, and now did you know that your activity is in a survey conducted anonymously for many cooperations that seek out the best advertisement arena?

Yes, viral marketing.

Youtube is now officially the largest video advertising channel, with mostly free advertisements on public and popular products like Coke and Pepsi. The average viewers on a video indicates the potential of marketability of a said product. (with the death of Veoh, even more so)

In order to conduct this potential marketing of the product, people such as Viacom or whatever other companies may involve themselves in viewing what others have viewed, as a means of marketing, however invading the privacy and or restrictions of others. (what they said on wanting see if their video clips are much more watched than amateur clips.)

Although I see no reason why they would need to do that so specifically especially since the database promised more details on users, not actual names or ASL, which I don't put (Manchester UK Omnidevil is somewhat 2004). They can't really check for demographic viewpoints, or in reality able to determine any trends other than seeing how many times a video has been watched officially on its official channels vs amateur clips.

If they are not already concerned with the rights to air episode on youtube thing, I believe they should consider the implications it may cause to privacy concerned parties.

Currently, if they do intend to declare in public why this action is taken against the favor of the users over a 1 billion lawsuit or whatever it was that the judge declared (I have heavy sentiments that it may be a marketing scheme and that the judge was bribed to agree), they should showcase what intentions they have once the database is obtained, I am more worried if the database remains in their hands after their survey.

I really don't think this has much to do with privacy, there was once privacy promised with myspace, facebook and every other stupid blogging site ever pop up on the internet, nowadays employers go as far as checking your myspace for lucid details into your lifestyle, the way you dress and act out etc.

Critical to say, nothing is private anymore, and you really should not be bothered so much etc.
After all, it is not like as if everybody doesn't keep a little black book, I am proud to say I am man, and I rather enjoy watching an occasional yaoi video (ie, boku no pico) and updates from Kigurumi kingdom.

Do I care if Viacom knows I like gay porn and plastic sex vids?
They might just use it to market some new sextoy on the market

I deleted my accounts a long time ago, but this is ridiculous. The amount of information they asked for was completely unwarranted. One thing I disagree with is Google saving this sort of information in the first place, but what I really disagree with is user's information being so readily available and being forced to be given out.

I couldn't care less, really. Sure, some may not consider it right or fair that someone can have a list of the video's they've watched or what type of video's they are prone to watching, but in a way, people can do that already; when you favorite something, you're letting people see what video's you like or have watched and while it isn't quite on the scale of a company having a list, it's a bit like it in the general sense.

I only care as long as Viacom doesn't send me emails asking for survey answers, to something as meager or stupid as 'How many times would you view your favorite video?' or something like 'would you prefer if the official edit was released and the amateur version was removed?'

I think the answer is obvious, there is a market for everything.

and Lenas... I am not really gay, I am just... overly sexually active until I don't know what to do with my libido.
Off topic lol.

As I said before... if they really worry about people uploading copyright material,... they can almost arrest the whole world, because almost a lot of people do and did it anyway whether it is youtube or any other videostream website.

The whole shit began with Napster and until now it is too late to be enforcing anything futile like that...

I fart on that crap, for real

I hesitated on posting in this thread for a long time for several reasons.

1) Wasn't sure what to say.
2) Seems liked I'd be outnumbered by those who didn't understand nor seem to appreciate the concept of privacy rights in general.

Just because one doesn't value or understand their rights, does not mean that the unconcerned should deem that right "unnecessary" or "unimportant" for everyone else.

The bigger picture isn't about porn or vulgarity, but one of control. As we all know, "Information is Power". Whether it be big corporation(s) or the government. We've all seen enough animes where either or both of these 2 powers control the people unjustly. Storytellers base these on history as well as human nature.

"Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Another quote to stew on by Thomas Paine, "When the people fear the government you have tyranny. When the government fears the people, you have freedom."

I'm sure many will nick pick what I've said. Or tell me how I said it wrong. But please don't attack me just because my opinion happens to be different that yours.

Thank you.

You're welcome. And thank you for the compliment. I was braced for the opposite. It's an important topic, I'm glad you posted it. I'm sure, there are more people who read it than posted who were probably like I was. Unsure what &/or if to post.
