What major changes in technology do you think will happen in the next 20-30 years that will make you look back and now and realize how much your lifestyle has changed since you were a kid?
For my parents, computers were giant machines taking up more then one room used soley for mathematical computations...A giant calculator. Even when I was little the first PC's were just starting to come out and very few people had their own...now most people own a PC of some sort and few people could imagine getting work, communication or leisure done without it.
I personally think that cell phones are the next "can't live without it" vital piece of technology...What started out as a tool for wayward communication now lets us send email, text messages, get weather and stock updates, find dates or even download novels to read on the bus. A few years ago when I was just starting high school, every friggin' kid had a pager [I never understood those damn things] and now that I'm out of high school I see ten year olds running around with cell phones. When I was younger, cell phones used to be for grown ups, business people, people on the go...now they're for everyone.
So what do you think the next step is?
Kind of an obvious question but it'll be interesting to see what comes up.

Well, if we go outside of the house and see what we need to make better, there is the car especially, they have already experimented with flying cars of some sort, which will be computer controlled and flying in virtual highways in the sky =O!
We already see this kind of system in the airplanes today, they can basicly fly all by themself...
And there will probably not go long before our houses get filled up with technology that can cook food for you, turn on all the things you need just by voice control, which we already have in our cellphones...
