Hey,here's one from Sweden! And I still live here.
I'm a ABC (American Born Chinese), but I've been told that I don't have an American accent when I speak Chinese. I'd like to think that I'm fluent, but I would never be able to do a lecture on some philosophical subject in Chinese. ^^;
Korean ....

Flip with a bit of Chinese.
Unlike some people...my city is populated with many Filippino's and like even in the school flip ethnicity is ahead with 43% of the students filippino. Btw, I overheard someone say to start a flip group :) any ideas?

I'm Vietnamese but I was born in California, like many many others were. My Vietnamese is...uh, I admit..it's poor. My English is really good though! That counts, right?
I'm Korean. Born and Raised in NJ. I'm a little bit of North and mostly South Korean not that there is any real difference. I only speak Korean to adults and my parents. Not really fluent in the language though.

I'm Korean, born and raised and still living in Florida.
Same thing here, I don't know Korean fluently but I have to talk Korean with my family.

I'm indonesian ^^
i'm a malaysian chinese :)
both my parents are 100% chinese.
I'm also a Malaysian chinese. 100% also, of course.
I speak my own dialect which is not the same as Reesha that is Tai Shan. It sounds a bit like Cantonese but not Cantonese. I also speak Mandarin, Malay, Hokkien, Cantonese and English.
i'm from singapore...
but strangely i speak chinese(hokkien and cantonese and hakka and hainanese and mainly mandrin) some malay and both variations of english (the normal 1 and singlish
i'm actually not very fluent in any of the above mentioned languages but i can understand them when spoken to...
the interesting part is that the language system has evolved to the point where all these languages are mixed up and people here speak with patches of their languages mixed up with others. this produces alot of weird sentences and most foreigners don't hav a clue wad the hell we're saying most of the time, even though we claim to be speaking english...lol
Agree. In Malaysia, the situation is roughly the same. For example, police is called 'mata'!
Lmao so many Filippinos! I'm Phillipino/American ^__^ My mothers side of the family is Filippino, and my father's American. I would have been born in the Philippines if my mom waited a month longer before flying to America. She and my grandparents (who live with us) speak Tagalog, but I can only pick out a few words XD Maybe I'll try learning the language sometime (since I have like a bajillion relatives who live in Cebu)
