I hate it and think people who are cruel to animals should be killed. legal system is waaaay to soft on animal cruelty. i've always had a close relationship to animals so its pretty easy for me to see their personality and understand their behavior. so for me they're like people, only better since theyre not motivated by greed or power, theyre the purest thing.

Are you joking me?! I love meat! (that sounded a little odd) It's one of my five main food groups! (the others being rice, sugar, chocolate, and anything delicious). Although, being on a bland diet do to colitis, I'm getting sick of fowl... So, I've never really thought about how they're killed in order to be served on my plate, but animal cruelty in general is a really big problem. I agree with bluesnow about the pet owner issues. I've seen people do some things to their pets that's just plain horrible. Like my friend adopted her pet beagle, and for a long time the dog was afraid of my friend's father and brooms. They assumed therefore that her previous owner had been male and had beaten her with a broom. And when we went to adopt a dog (we ended up getting two) one of the dogs at the shelter would hide in the dog house outside everytime someone came out and wouldn't reemerge until they left. It's makes you wonder what some sick person did to her, poor thing.

However it seems things are looking a little better as to how humans are killing animals for their fur and meat and such. But there are still those like hunters and poachers who kill animals cruelly just for "sport/fun" or just for, say (in the case of elephants) ivory, and leaving the rest just lying there. It's a tragic waste and this is how many animals make it to the endangered species list. Something really should be done about this!

Animal Cruelty is a very bad thing and don't want to know what they do the animals to get there skins, but ill bet majority in this world eats meat.
