Eureka!
Im in the very early stages of making my 3rd wallpaper, a Eureka 7 one. The only problem is that im not very familiar with the series! So any suggestions as to what Is appropriate etc are welcome.

Personally, I would never make a wallpaper for a series that I haven't seen in its entirety...but if you must, go to Youtube and watch the 1st and 4th (last) OPs for Eureka seveN (it's slight spoilage). They really capture the essence of the show.
Like all series, it's not perfect, but E7 is definitely a masterpiece (at least in terms of production value); this no one will deny. Try to catch it on Cartoon Network if you can.
P.S. I don't really like the screenshot you chose...to me, it's just aesthetically not flattering for Eureka...but it's what you want.

First of all, I'm not familiar with the series neader, but I love how vectors look like and I can say that you have a nice work in here and I'll love to watch it finished

Personally I thought both characters looked great! Its taken me quite awhile so I'm not going to stop now. We'll see when its finished I suppose

You really have some talent as an artist there, it needs hmmm colour and lots of it. I suggest look at wallpapers of the series on this site and the scan previews to get a good idea of the colours you sould use on their clothing. But so far wow and I havent seen the series either

will you stick to the original colour theme?
what sort of scenary would you put them in?
what sort of style would you put them in? Futuristic? mech-ness? or follow your last wallpaper style?

Seriously man watch the show. the actual show starts at the 10th episode though. that series took me for a well worth ride! its one of my favorites. you're not the first drawn to the artwork.
It's a pretty good vector, though some of the lines seem inconsistent to me. Maybe I'm just weird.
Other than that, it looks great. Though as already mentioned, I'd familiarize myself with the series first. That way if you want to turn it into something more than just a vector, you can make something that really catches the feel of the show.

Yeah, you may want to take the advice of everybody else and watch the series. I love the art too, and while I liked the original image this one was as a picture, I never felt that it fit the series. Eureka (left) reminded me a bit of Rei in Evangelion, but a Rei towards the end of the series when she was beginning to become happy and independent. Renton is you typical fly-by-the-seat of your pants type character, and in the pic, he looks down, depressed, etc. So yeah, watch the series, and maybe pick another pic (sorry, I see that you've worked on it for three days...quality is good though!)

I'm not going to use the full vector, So you wont see the leg area. If I do I'll Find a way to use the background to make it fit. Its still a work in progress mate, don't get ahead of yourself. I'm finishing the vector before I think about the background.
