What if you're gf/bf ask you to stop watching anime or manga?
To me...it isn't really much problem as i am still single ><(good or bad i have no idea)

Not a problem for me. I only go after girls whos intrists are similar to mine. I suppose if asked to quit I would agree on the condition that they quit doing something that they like just as much as I like anime. I doubt I'll have anything to worry about. :P
I don't see me getting in the position ,but if i did i wouldn't give it up. Unless i knew that he or she was the one or they gave up something they liked as well. But seeing as my bf love anime/manga as much or more then me its all good.
With the size of my collection, I'd probably have to go with a girl that likes anime as well. Or else it probably wouldn't work. I know a couple of girls that are into anime, so they are out there. :)
Truthfully i would say no, i'm still going to watch anime no matter what. I dont care what they would think because if she truly loved me then she would let me do what i want to do. I don't mean she doesn't have a word in the situation. She can still voice her opinion but it is my choice whether to follow it or not. If she really loved me, anime would not be a factor that will hinder our relationship.

Well although i don't have one yet, i'm still 13 and both my parents are very stricted, but if i were in that situation. i would ask the guy why he wants me to quit anime. if he gives me a resonable answer maybe i'll agree. but just like what kileer7 said

Its a "rare" position to be in...cuz basically...if you were an anime/manga fan...and had a gf/bf...chances are he/she is also a anime fan. I also highly doubt this will happen to girls cuz i dont think guys would ask their girlfriends to stop watching/reading anime/manga. As for girls...i dont think that they would be going out with a guy thats a anime fanatic unless she had same interests as him.

Im currently engaged to someone who reeeeallyyyyy doesnt like anime or manga. Everytime I buy a manga he makes a face. Hes never asked me to give it up, because he knows its something Im passionate about, just like Id never ask him to stop with his car interests. We do compromise (no watching anime/car shows with each other) which works out fine. Theres always room for compromise, and no one should have to give up something they really enjoy because their partner doesnt like it

Hm, she is asian so she respects it. At least that is what I tell myself when she storms out of the room. In all truth, I doubt someone will ask you to give up what you like, they may ask you to join them in their crappy hobbies for watching too much anime, but I think it is always possible to find an anime that they like (or atleast tolerate).
I will probably dump her, but in the first place i wouldn't get a girlfriend that doesn't like anime or manga.
Never I'll never stop watching anime for as long as I live, because it always something for everyone. There action for the fighting buffs or for the sad types there are the romance ones and thats what makes it great. So looks like i better find an anime girl.
As long as I love anime and manga i won`t stop watch it. My past girlfriends don`t like anime, manga, etc. But they understand me...
