Trick or Treat by ~chanelqueen17 3 weeks 5 days ago

^nat
After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I haven't had a problem with acne in ages. I don't think topical creams and soaps and whatnot work very well. The key is diet. Good fats, don't spike the blood glucose, lots of organic veggies, natural meat (organic, not factory-farmed). That sort of thing. Pickled veggies are great. Yogurt, kefir, and other lacto-fermented dairy. Preparing grains and nuts by soaking. Using sourdough starter for leavening. No white flour, white sugar, or processed foods.

Actually food doesnt effect your acne outbreak. Try washing your face at 2 - 3 time a day. Invest some acne rid cream. Im currently using Clearsil Ultra..

If its real bad i highly reccomend proactive. My friends use it and they said its worked real well and I've noticed the chnage too. Luckily I don't break out with acne too often. Pretty clear complexion. And ya lay off the greasy oily food.

Actually, greasy food can effect your skin.

try staying away from greasy/fried foods. eating the things that vbob has said should help as well. this may seem wierd but cutting a slice of tomato and rubbing it on your face is a good way to get rid of acne (i learned this from a scientist). this also might sound wierd buuuuuuuuuuut......before you go to bed, put some dabs of toothpaste on the spots you have pimples at and then go to bed, wake up, and wash it off. they turn so small and won't be as noticable.

home made facial scrubs and masks work well too. try searching 'homemade face wash' on google and u'll find a whole bunch of recipes.

oh yea, proactive really does work...

I used to have a terrible time with it. I went to a dermotologist (spl?) and she put me on some medicine which helped. Depending on what kind of acne you have, it oculd take a few months to a couple years for it to clear up. Usually when you're older it clears up, too. I know that I don't get breakouts nearly as bad or as often now that I've turned 20.

Hmm, I've heard that your diet really does affect your acne..

Watch out for fatty/greasy foods and drink lots of water! By lots I mean around 8 cups a day, which is the normal intake of h2o that everyone should be getting. Exercise is also very important, and should be done on a regular basis anyways!

Try washing your face 2-3 times a day with a clean washcloth, gently not rough or else you'll be causing more damage~ and wash your hands as much as possible!

Hope it helps~ ^_^

You'll have the best luck with a simple approach-
Wash your face every morning and night. Special creams are nice and all... but plain face soap and water work best as far as I can tell ^^

I never get any acne. i wash my face with regular soap (soap with lotion in it. no fancy acne wash). greasy food doesnt affect me at all. neither does chocolate or soda like some people like to say haha.

Well, just try not to eat too much greasy food, you'll still get pimples, but there will be a lot less.

Staying away from greasy food is a good idea in general... To be honest, I find that grilled food tastes better anyway. It might actually relate to why I only have minor acne. I use some creams (Regular stuff, Clearasil and such) sometimes, and that usually takes care of my pimples, but I'm a bit to lazy to keep at that. A healthy diet is said to help stop acne, but even if it isn't true, there's no harm in a healthy diet!
