Hmmm...I usually hate the damsels in distress or the overly-obsessive types. Of course, there are also those with horrible atitudes. This includes (but is not limited to):

Rena - .hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet
Tsukasa and Tsubaru - .hack//SIGN
Risa - DNAngel
Kaoru and Misao - Rurouni Kenshin
Kayko - Yu Yu Hakusho

Flay - Gundam SEED (She's Numero Uno...sooo glad she FINALLY died)

And i think thats about it. I usually fall in love with all the characters in the manga. I don't know why..
But I love some characters more than others.
That's how I tell a good series from a bad series. If I fall in love with everyone, it'll become one of my favorites.

I think the one that I find most irritating is that penguin (totally forgot and didn't bother to remember his name) in Groove Adventure Rave. I can't really figure out why the author even bothered to add him in. He's just so...extra...
Oh yes. I don't know if anybody watched Alien 9 OVA before, but that girl with the surname Ootani also got on my nerves. She keeps crying and crying and crying and crying and is so useless. She couldn't help her teammates in capturing aliens, and simply brings them more trouble by dropping to her knees and just cry. Yes...never have I found any other character more irritating than her. Even the penguin is much more useful.

I don't really hate, but a common answer. Yuki from Fruits Basket. He's very feminish. :o Besides that, there's no other character that I actually 'hate' because a lot of them has something to do with the story in the anime I watch.

I hate Tamahome from Fushigi Yuugi soo much because, it's funny how much of a 'pimp' he can be. Then he bitches how everyone loves Miaka. And there's the thing I don't get. Yuu Watase is screwed up because she made them fall in love at first sight. That is so stupid. Miaka should have picked Nuriko.

Most of the characters that drive me nuts are female characters. Mostly those who are unnecessarly overly emotional, but general annoyingness is mostly what determines the characters I can't stand.
