Who would win in a battle, Unit-01 or Goku?
Ok it's all about brains then... (laughs at Goku's stupidity) In the heat of battle, he's samrter though @~1@ So he teleports to the moon or some other planet with oxygen in it that he can breathe in and fire the kamahamaha in super saiyan 5 and Kayoken (SP- they dropped that sad idea didnt they?) at the earth and kill Shinji from the next galaxy.. since he's the "Most powerful fighter int he Universe.."

There are alot of people who can easily kill Goku, Lorrd of nightmares, Dark Schneider, Shinn Gertter Robo and half the cast of Tenchi Muyo to name a few. Eva 01 is not on the list, at best 01 is a large scale city destroyer. It's god-ness was the result of far to many specific incidents to be a facotor in a fight.

Man, I don't see how an Eva can stand a chance against any DBZ character, let alone Goku. Goku is capable of destroying galaxies with ease if he wanted. There's just no way in hell Unit-01 can go up against that kind of power.
Goku can destroy PLANETS, not Galaxies. You wawnt a Galxy destroyer then you pull out Ideon

It may not have shown Goku being capable of destroying galaxies, but from what past villains can do, I say he can when he's a Super Saiyan 4. If I remember right, during the Cell vs. Gohan fight, Cell said his Kamehameha was strong enough to destroy the whole solar system, Cell is almost as strong, as a Super Saiyan 2, so I imagine that Goku being a Super Saiyan 4 and all, destroying galaxies is nothing.
With each new level their fights seem to take longer and longer.. ANd remember when Vegeta and Napa first came around? Vegeta destroyed a planet while on his way to earth with ease and BREATHED IN SPACE... Then came Super Saiyan 4 and it still takes 30 episodes to kill someone.. Freza supposedly over level one million can destroy the planet Piccolo is from in 3 minutes (translations 10 episodes) but with the Buu and GT fights, one blast from Goku stil cant even dent more than a mile of the earth's surface. Someone didnt keep up with the crap they made up along the way.. -_-
Haha a fan ^^; Does it matter? Goku will come back anyway after eating a fregin sensu bean and take 7 episodes to gather the spirit bomb which he should always use as a first attack anyway.. -_- (That would save viewers about 89 episodes...)

The time in animes past by differently, so during Goku's fight with Frieza, those 10 episodes they fight was only about 7 minutes in their time. And that whole Vegeta being able to breath in space while destroying that planet on the way to Earth was a filler, so don't count that. :O
And they got to stretch out the fights as long as possible, if the fight just ends right away just because Goku goes into Super Saiyan 4, then it wouldn't be as exciting, and they wouldn't be able to make as much money. And they don't always use their full power, so you can't expect a whole planet to be destroy just because Goku or somebody else capable of destroying planets with ease use an energy blast.

Everybody has their likes and dislikes, but I'm surprised you hate it since you seem to know that Goku is capable of destroying planets, yet not galaxies. You obviously have watched enough of it to know the basics of it, and know their powers well enough. So I was wondering if you hate it so much, then why you watch enough of it to know what you're talking about?

Yeah I watched it all, mostly cuz there's nothign else on. and it's one of those staple that you should at least be familar with. Plus I was younger and stupider then
