The first anime that made me really want to see anime, was One Piece... It was also one of the first i saw...

It all started with saishuu heiki kanojo a.k.a saikano
The first anime I watched was Sailor moon or pokémon.
My sis telling me about this kick-ass 'cartoon' in the evening. I turn on the tv and there is, Sailormoon -___-"
Dragon Ball Z, on "Club Dorothee" (ooold french TV show, which also had Ranma 1/2 or Fly for example)
And I thought C17 & C18 where the good guys, and the others the badguys XD (I mean, er... Vegeta or Picolo don't look very friendly, do they? XD)
And I really started to go "bersek" watching dozen of animes and reading dozen of mangas after having discovered (and bought) Love Hina (But before that I had already read Kenshin, Yu-Gi-Oh or Fly... But I didn't have the "flame" for animes ^^)

Saliormoon^.^ i saw it when i had a chinease girl friend+we where at the3thgrade or so..she show me the "way" of anime^^; it was always coming on Zdf at 7am XD
One day, I was watching Cartoon Network when Gundam Wing came on. I said, "Wow! Cool! Giant robots!"

My first anime would be...Heidi :P It aired on dutch television for a while and I watched it when I was (very) little.
The anime that introduced me to the online fansub community would be fullmetal alchemist. Great start for watching anime. It is still one of my favourites.

Sailor Moon was the first anime I ever saw I think. And then I remember seeing Princess Monoke... and the Drangon Ball Z. I never noticed they were anime's though. My first anime that got me realizing that this WAS anime was probably Inuyasha though ^^
My first anime i ever saw was Dragon Ball Z. and i still love it to this day. great anime and it always will be a great anime
I remember seeing an anime movie when I was younger. I have no idea what it was called.. and only barely remember any of it. What I know.. and remember.. was probably Cowboy Bebop.
