Yes. Pretty much everyone is using the original format (that I know of).

I usually don't like Tokyopop since they translate sound effects, but their translation of Blame! was really beautiful and didn't take away from the story at all. It annoys me that Tokyopop keeps on sticking it's little " Parental Advisory: explicit content'' stickers over Immortal Rain since it's completley PG (occasionaly PG-13). On the other hand it cracks me up that Hellsing (Dark Horse Manga) got away with only "teen"

I like Viz, they just happen to get all the good ones. TokyoPop has some hot ones, but still.
I buy most of my manga from Tokyopop. But i just buy manga that i like, so i don't really care if they are from any company. But i prefer it to be Tokyopop, cause they release their manga faster than other company, viz is okay as well.

I like tokyo pop..but then again, i don't read much manga by those companies, it costs over $20 for just one issue>.<
i used to buy the local translations (i'm from singapore) and i think it's quite good quality and it's way cheaper. ($8) but i buy tokyo pop now(i'm in new zealand studying and it's the only one they have here)...i read stuff like wallflower, ccs-motc, psychic academy, wish, clamp school dectectives, clamp school defenders duklyon etc...

The series I choose to buy all happen to be released by VIZ. I have no problems with them doing BLEACH and EYESHIELD 21, but NARUTO.... >.<;

Tokyopop has published a lot of my favorites, but they don't seem like they are a very good company.
I still have a soft spot for them, though. Back in the day, there weren't many companies releasing manga here besides them.
Plus, they are releasing the Tsukuyomi Moon Phase manga. *swoon*

I would have to say Del-rey... I just LOVE THEM. Tokyopop was the best before they came... but... Yeah. Although I have a lot of manga in Japanese and Scanlations on my computer... Del-rey is the best english translator!
I love Tokyopop. They do a good job and they usually release in a timely manner. Plus their website is awesome. It's easy to navigate and they give you the release dates for the next manga at the end of each book and list it on the website way in advance.
I dislike Viz a lot. Their website is impossible, release dates are hard to find, etc. But, unfortunately, they've licensed a lot of manga I'm in love with so I have to take what I can get.

Well, I'm in Indonesia so I just know a little. In here my favorite is m&c!. I kinda like Elex Media Komputindo. There is DC, but I don't like it... I really want to try reading TokyoPop books. Oh yeah! I like Del-Ray too!!
For me, it'd be Del-Rey because I like having explanations and previews. Most of the manga on my shelf is from Del-Rey (Wallflower, Tsubasa RC, XXXHolic) but I also like CMX and Tokyopop.
