theres this guy at my karate class...
he's waaay older than i am..
he's 22 and I'm 14.. right??
well.. i thought he was pretty cool..
he was my senpai and i treated him like i would a big brother.
Id hug him and beat the crap out of him.. (i wish)
well.. he's leaving tommorow, to go to Arizona for work..
I hugged him a bunch of times today,
coz i knew this was the last karate class from him that im going to get.. :)
he'd hug back... and then give me a noogie..
i thought i was going to ball.. but i didnt.
finally, when we were leaving, i walked out, turned around and said "arigatou gozaimasu" to the dojo and bowed..
then as we were walking out to the driveway, he held my hand!
it was a surprise.. i was thinkin.. what in the hell?
im soo naive at this stuff. i dont even know what in the world that meant.
i asked my friends, and all they did was coo and say he likes me..
and i know its not really that way.. i mean, he's like a brother to me.. he's my senpai!
we neared the place where there were lights, and he let go..
then everyone was right infront of us, he grabbed my hand again.
so it got me thinking.. what in the world?! if he didnt mean anythin by it, wouldnt it be ok if people saw us holding hands?
guys are so confusing, and im so retarded and slow at this stuff... i wouldnt know anything if it hit me in the head..
well.. i texted him and told him "way to make me cry!"
adnd he texted back "im sorry lil fella.. i will miss you and i will call you when i get there"
the LIL FELLA confused me more than anythin..


anyway.. thanks if you help me.. i know you guys ha ve problems of your own and stuff.. and this prolly duznt compare to what you got goin.. but i would appreciate the help... im just confused. this stuff just normally dont happen to me..

Man... responding to this is kinda hard... well heres my opinion on the situation..
Maybe you knew him so long that he kinda developed a liking to you... maybe he was flirting... Then again maybe he just got soo overwhelmed with emotion that he was leaving you, that he had to hold you hand...

Well, I'm sure that he likes you to some degree, but it's probably that it's because he thinks of you as a little sister. That's probably why he held your hand, but if he let go when people were around, he also probably felt embarassed a little to be holding a "little girls" hand. Unless everyone there KNEW that you two thought of each other as siblings, he probably just didn't want anyone to misunderstand and think he was a pedophile or anything. I wouldn't read too much into this one.

To think about it... Sonryu i was thinking siriusly about the Pedophile thing...
anyway smartdeviant... what was his Emotions when he held your Hand... (what was he's face emotion... how did it looked like when he grabbed your hand?)

I am not sure what to make of that, maybe he is going to miss you like family and the reason he let go of your hand was because he thouhgt others might think something of it. Or the other reason, but that one is kinda obvious. If you don't like him, in that manner then just blow it offf don't ask him what he means by it, it would just make your friendship now uncomfortable. Wait and see if he makes some kinda obvious movement. bah I suck at this >_<

The way I figure is that he probably thinks you like him. Some guys tend to do that kind of stuff. Just tell him straight up how you feel. He's just like a brother, no more.

Well, it all comes down on you. Don't mean to pressurize you, xp. However, if you don't like him and you hugged him because you respect him-he's your senpai (what does that mean? does it mean a teacher?). You got to let him know that you only respect him and doesn't have any other feelings for him other than he's your senpai. You got to let him know so he can get the message. Or if you don't want to tell him to see if he really likes you (it's embarrassing if he doesn't like you), you can show it to him. Say something, like, "You're the greatest senpai and a teacher to me in the whole wide world. Thanks for teaching me for so long. I wish you all the luck!" Say something respectful so he only knows that there's nothing going on between you guys other than you're his student.

Yeah, I have to agree with Eso, he is old...ewwwwww! I would have kicked him in the crotch, but hey, that is pretty much what i do when i'm nervous lol.

But maybe he was just being a guy (most are emotionally challenged, but not all) and thought you looked like you were about to cry so he tried to make you feel stronger and stuff.

i know i give my friends hugs sometimes, but that doesn't mean i like them.
