How old and what was the first anime u watched?

I'd like to know what was the very first anime you watched and got you into anime and how old were you at the time? I would probably have to say dragon ball.. lol and i was about 8. now im 18 -_-
Em... i think is the Doraemon... i watched this anime when i was 6. by now i'm 14! Doraemon is just a normal anime but it has the good storyline for it!

Hmm, I never thought of this question before. I think I have watched anime when I was in primary school but at that time I'm still young to know what is anime until when I reached 16 do I really enjoy anime. lol.

Technically the first anime I've ever seen was Speed Racer. Back in the late 80s/early 90s it ran either before or after Liquid Televison on MTV. But the first anime I had ever seen knowing it was anime when I watched it was Tenchi Muyo on it's first Toonami run. In between that I had seen Dragonball (the original), Sailor Moon, Street Fighter the Movie, DBZ, Sonic the Hedgehog OVA, and Tekken, all with no vague idea where they came from.

I'm 21 , I don't remember the first anime I watched. It may be Dragon Ball or Saint Seiya, or maybe astro (if it's older)
But the first real anime I watched is Ah My Goddess, I mean it's my first subbed anime with japenese vocal. It was a great experience. (I bought the video tape lol)

I grew up on anime all my life =)
I was probably like around 10 or 11 when i first watched anime i think that the first anime i watched was pokemon, i was obsessed with it back then with collecting the cards but then a lot more cards came out and i gave up on it =P

I think when i was 7 years old, i was in Hong Kong, and everyday after tutoring at this camp, sailor moon was on, and yes im a guy lol, but i thought it was somewhat koo, and then after that, last time i was anime was 8 years later, when i started watching GTO and intial D, then i really started getting into anime, i thought GTO was hella hilarious even though it was hella ecchi, intial D was really koo due to that fact they made it hella intense, and koo looking cause of their TECHONIQUES! lol
I must have seen anime when I was pretty small.. but I remember starting to watch Pokemon, just for something to do, around age 13 or something. Only about three years ago did I get involved in watching anime.. starting with the series Cardcaptor Sakura. I'm 17 now, just to give you the picture.
