The anime is really realyl bad, i think they animators were fooling around while doing it just like ichigo 100%. I highly recommend you read the manga. Its out now so you can buy it at Chapters or something. The manga is a million times better than the anime.

It's all about a 9 year old wizard kid who goes to normal all girl-school to teach as a part of his "training" to become a full-fledged wizard and also to look for his long lost dad. and on the way he gets to hit on cute 12(?) year old kids. honestly the plot is not that great.
I also recommend reading the manga before you watch the anime. The anime has really horrible animation and following the story is like trying to go fishing without a pole. Useless. The manga is much more easier to get into. Its made by the same author of Love Hina (which I loved).
Anyways if you want to know what its about...
The plot basically follows "Negi" a 9 year old wizard who is a complete child wiz. In order for him to graduate he has to teach a class of middle schoolers and get them all to pass. He forms a bond with one girl called "Asuna" . She discovers that he is truly a wizard, and basically things sort of unravel from there. Its very similar to Love Hina, so if you liked that series you will almost certainly love this one.

Pretty much its a harem with a young kid teaching at an all girls school. the manga is much better than the anime

Actually it is already officially said that the new "season" has NO relation to the first. It's a completely new series, that will have a new manga to it, supposedly done by a different author also.

Negima is the first my favorite anime, but in anime episode 22-26 I hate it very much!

Haa.... i'm tired of thoes anime series... i saw the first episodes and it's cute but god the subject is kiling me... a boy surrounded by a cute girls there's like 6 thousand anime series like that... it's sucks
