This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

What was the exact feeling you felt when your pet passed away? Many of my pets died and I've grown very attached to them when they were alive. They were like my best friends. They were always there for me and I was always there for them. It's extremely difficult to go through that, but it eventually fades away and you end up realizing that they're better off now.

Sometimes, I couldn't forget about when all my birds died. It kept playing on my head like a video and I couldn't go to sleep at all since I remembered seeing them die and it's just so hard to forget...Tell me what you guys think.

My hamster died about a year ago.

i remember at the beginning i thought it's just sleeping or bored to move, and joked 'dont tell me you are dead'. however, as these words came out of my mouth, i suddenly had this really terrible feeling and for a second there i couldnt feel my legs... then i was too afraid to find out for sure so my poor housemate had the 'honor' to comfired his death...

i still have its picures on my wall, but i was kinda suprised that i actually took it better than i thought i'd be. everyone around me kept reminding me that it was getting old and it's only natural, etc. somehow that probably helped... i dont know...

If that was my dog, I would have.

I've had a lot of pets before, but I only felt attached to the last pets I had - four Japanese Spitzes and one German Shepherd. Unfortunately, I had to leave all of them in the Philippines, because my family and I had to move to Indiana. So I had to give them all away, which broke my heart. But I think it was better that I gave them away instead of having them euthanized. I don't think I could bear that.

Relieved... sold my bunny that I didn't had time to take care of. She probably got to some place better.

I never actually watched any of my beloved pets die (except for one, but we'd only had this little kitten for a day, and I wasn't particularly attached to her or anything, though it was still incredibly depressing), but I've had it where my dad would have to take them to be put to sleep because they were sick. This has happened twice, and both times it was incredibly painful and sad. I would cry when we had to give our other cats away too, although knowing that two of my cats had to die was just devastating to me. If anything happened to my one cat now, I don't know what I'd do.

Had only one cat, but that cat had been in the family for ~14 years. One day it came back from his nightly trips with one eye broken, a quick trip to a vet, and antidotes. At first it looked like he would make it, but after a few weeks he was so weak that we had to take him to a vet again. Didn't come back from that trip. The most annoying fact in this affair was that the reason why he died was that we had stopped giving antidotes too early, when we thought he was well and the eye was clean of bacteria... Because of this false thought, he bacteria rotted his eye and was about to reach his brain, so there wasn't much to do at that point. ¬_¬

So if one of you gets medicines, you'd bloody well make sure you use them exactly as intended and a few days more.

If my dog got purposely run over, i would run in, grab my dad's gun (and the spare mag, lol) and blow the living crap out of the murderer's car

one cat that we had (that stayed mostly outside), was really old, but my mom ran over her in the garage because my mom's parking really sucks

Both of my hamsters died around my birthday. It came as a shock to me because I was expecting them to live longer. It was pretty ironic because they were given to me as birthday gifts, then they died a week before (the female) and on my birthday. (the male). It was heart-breaking; I cried my heart out. -_-; It may seem ridiculous, but they were my darling hamsters after all.

Hmm.. well i've literally had my favorite 6-year old gold fish thrown in a lake to be set free... and eaten XD. Later I raised tropical fish and they got killed cuz my cousin farted in them (nah, forgot to chage the filtration- had goldfish puke and fish heads in it ^^). a year later, after that, I got 43 guppies sent to me, and they were cannibals the kept on breeding.. they died from ich.. Ok, bu now, i would have almost no feelings for them, cuz if I did, i'd probably had gone phycotic a long time ago.. then one year I got two parakeets for my birthday!... wanted them for a long time. But I kept on forgetting to feed - my parents did. Then I used mite spray which got in their eyes and food. And then i fed them spinach (it was supposed to be healthy!). Later I gave them baths in 1/2 a plastic milk carton, and pretty soon they were dead- probably because of the mite spray! And so i cried for.. say... 2 minutes for each one... and now my science teacher thinks i'm a monster ^^!

Well, I've lost many pets. Some because of accidents, some died of an illness, and some died a natural death.
I always felt sad when one of the animals died.

A while ago, my dog was almost hit by a car. My dog ran across the road, and a car was approaching her very quickly. She was lucky that one of our neighbours was walking there and pulled my dog onto the sidewalk. Phew, that was shocking.
