What if anime characters started acting in multiple shows/movies?

How would you feel if Anime characters were only played by, well "actors" and the actors of other Animes would start pretending to be other nime characters and it was more like real live movies?
I think it would be cool yet annoying at the same time

In my opinion it would be annoying, because one reason of looking animes for me is, that each anime has its own specific characters and each of these characters is specially made for this anime ;)

It's already sort of come about. If you watch "historical" anime you can pick out people who are the same from anime to anime. For instance, several characters that showed up for no more than a few seconds in the Samurai X OAV's were the main characters in Peacemaker Kurogane. It's somewhat funny since Oshida actually looks almost exactly the same.
And now the casting for the actors is almost complete,
as we begin the third act.
All that's left is to wait for the curtain to rise.

Anime would then lose it's only uniqueness. It might then even start to be drawn like real people who appear in multiple anime.

I don't know... it gets weird and it just wouldnt feel right... I didnt even like it when they reused the characters from Mai-Hime for Mai-Otome... it just wasnt as goood... where's the originality? and i think it would just be difficult to keep on reusing the characters...
It'll be scary...and sad because I wouldn't want to start hating my favourtie anime characters because they have another role with a bad character >.>
Lol if that happened it really wouldn't make a lot of sense. I don't think it'll ever happen (to an extreme at least). However, there are voice actors/actress that you will frequently notice all the time playing different anime roles. When I hear one of my favorite voice actresses speak in a new show it usually makes me happy and more interested in the show :).

Cloud would be a better James Bond thats what would happen.
I think it would be cool to see characters from diffrent anime's like Bleach, Naruto, and DBZ in the same show.
Well just from seiyus, it's already sort of like that. Hardcore fans can pick out the voice behind the character. A fair warning is to try to not get too involved with knowing who the seiyus are, or it could totally bug you out when watching another anime. In a way, it kills some of the illusion when you're looking at a character, and in the back of your head you picture the real actor (stage or voice). Not cool.
I saw the seiyu who did Faye Valentine's voice. I never looked at Faye quite 100% the same way again.
