First try on making a Wall

For quite a long time, i have found i quite beautiful Scan of Belldandy from AMS, but didn't found the wallpaper for that. So... i decided to make my one Wally out of the Scan, and tried to recolor the parts, that were totally fucked up.. And here is teh Result.
Here it is
I didnt to much on it, i just rotate that, cuz i think it was a Poster, then smoothing and sharping, and recolored the parts that were totally messend up.
And plz guys.. Dont look to closely! There a some parts, that i totally messend up...
Ps: I think you saw that my English is not that perfect.. Sry about that too..
Ps2: Who ever scanned that one.. i think i hate you now :/

Lets see, the background is a litle too plain. Also, the shadow is going all around her body, it makes her look like she is floating. Erase some of it in places where her hair is, and other places, that are on the ground. :)

So.. I edited the image (and the Link in the First post), and removed some of the Shadows..
And about the BG.. I like the plan ones, cuz it dosent make it look to Overloaded.

Quality needs some upgrading,

Hmm.. With "unsmooth" you mean the loop, or? Because i didn't see any ofther parts Oo

You should keep the other versions on here so new people that come and look at it will have a reference. upload in the same place you are making your new posts, not at the top of the page.
but, on to the wall. i would say the extraction still needs work.
you really are going to have to do something with the bg, it won't get accepted like that. besides, the color is not very flattering to her. it's bad enough that's not really her hair color but the beige bg makes her look even more washed out. you really could do anything with this wall. it's a great perspective and there's tons of neat stuff you could do with this.

Major extraction issues, which I suggest you tackle before moving on to doing the background. Circled in red below:
Don't leave any light bits remaining outside of the image outlines. I'm also not too keen about the buzzy effect you have around the outside of the scan in some places - circled in blue - because that looks gritty and seems like some extraction leftovers interfering with the background.
I also notice that only some of the shadow is present - only some of the hair and one arm has got shadows. Also, the flat colored shadow doesn't look convincing against the gradient background, and detaches the scan from the background instead. I suggest you remove all the shadows entirely, then use a drop shadow off the scan to get the right effect.

Removed all the Stuff that you circled in red and blue, and maked the BG new..
And i cleaned some other parts, that you didn't found.
And this time, i post the Wall, with and without the BG, so that anybody can see, if there are extraction issues left, on the scan.

Yes, I didn't circle everything. You managed to clean up most of it though.
I'm not looking cery closely, but I can spot where you missed some places where shadow should have been removed (green) and there are still places where little specks remain (red) - and the part where the ribbon nears the skirt looks like still attached with the background gray color, but I'm not sure:

So.. remmoved the last specks (i hope..)
And about the ribbon.. yeah.. thats quite complicated, cuz the shirt was (and is) my main Problem on the Scan. Just look for your self
and you see what i mean. I just have really no idea, what i should make with the ribbon. So i just tried my best, and re-colored it some how..
