Yin&Yang

As you can see, I went with a "Yin&Yang" look with my decks. I changed the slipmats, so the black one has a white slipmat and the white one has a black one.
I used to have 1200's back then(long story) Quite shock how this turtables are strong. I tought the mighty 1200 would never see competion. Anyway, I got back into music this year(Last Time I was behind the decks was in 97) I didn't take it serious back then, it was normal to me. I didn't know I could actaully do something with it. But At least I kept most of my Vinlys(I always bought my stuff on Vinlys).
Oh no hip hop, runs. jk jk

Thx for the replys guys. I went with the whole Yin&Yang look b/c I've never seen a DJ with that setup, and I'm a huge fan of the whole Kung-Fu philosphy, and the concept of Yin&Yang. As a boxer(and civilian..thats sounds funny, lol), I need to go by this rules.
Interesting... kung fu boxer dj? well it sounds cool so keep at it dude! But man that's alot of different stuff there...

At my college, there is a DJ course and it only goes for two 3 hour days and you get a Certificate of Attainment (means you did something within that field...like i get a Cert. of Attain if i poop once) and its only $70
Do you tihnk real DJ's go to music University??!?

Nice.
back in high school, all i did was go to my friends house afterschool and learn how to mix high energy and hip-hop records and scratch using the SUPERSEAL scratch record.. ahh the 5 hour sessions haha.
i USED to want a pair of 1200's myself, but realizing how expensive of a "hobby" it would be, i canned my plans.
i still appreciate and enjoy turntablism. as a matter of fact, everytime i pop in the 1992 & 1993/94 technics world dmc mixing championships VHS, i still get the urge to buy a set haha.
i'll probably cop a set for my little bro, so he can gain some social status (HAHA) when he goes to high school mixing at parties or whatever lol.
no but i know there are/were schools or camps in hawaii and new york for aspring djs.
and another thing, it is fact that there is nothing better than listening to music on WAX. eff a cd, mp3 or whatever, it doesnt sound the same!
