Utawareru mono / the one beeing sung wall
well, after i finished my last wallpaper, i wanted to maker another one, so i tried to make an utawareru mono wallpaper, because i like that anime ^^"
So, is there anything i can improve?
Ah, brushwork on scans don't look good most of the time. You might also want more work on extraction, because i see unextracted parts at hair and other places. Can't tell what it is,...but something on the right of the scan seems to be cut off.
grass is not half bad, maybe too blurred at front, probably getting rid of the leaves brush is the best. or atleast not so many

Wayyy too many leaves. And some of them are really big, almost bigger than the girl's head. Also, the leaves behind them seem to form a wall or something. Is that intended? If it is, ignore that. And why are they kinda...pink near their feet and/or knees? Is it part of the scan? I think this would look better if that pink was gone.

I agree with yitian the pink doesnt really go with the picture and there are too many leaves especially infront of the yellow. also i think the yellow in the corner.. is a little to pure and doesnt fit right.. maybe change hue so is red/orangish?
Okay, i got rid of therese leaves , changed the whole image colour and tried to delete these extraction mistakes.
but now i think it looks too emptly on the left side.
and, i also want to know if the motion blur is a bit too hard...is it?

something that's very noticeable are the grass in the front that are really reallly jagged edges.
i still don't like the leaves much...howabout,.. adding like a treetrunk behind them instead?
Actually, you can try adding different treetrunks.and branches and then some leaves.
i don't know, is that too much for you? bushes will also do. like draw a brown stem and then put small brushes of leaves on it really puffy like?
After you have done all that, think of a good way to place your text. Maybe have it in the direction of the sunrays or something like that^^ ok?

Umm am I suppose to be able to see through their heads and see the outline of the leaves behind them? cause I can see the outline of the girl who is kneeling down. is that suppose to be there?

I like that background, but the things you should get rid of are ghostly images of the scan, un needed opacity like on her hair, and motion blurs, and anything else that is just been placed on there without any reason in mind. Good job, love the background again.
I decreased the effects on the scan, now there is just an little blur - effect.
I also deleted (i hope) all of the brushes on the scan.

Nice progress... the sky...mmm you need to make it more cleaner. It looks grainy.

Ok after seeing so many wallpapers in one thread, I finally came to the latest wallpaper you edited, its a great idea IMO.
There is a green area above the grass, I would suggest using a differ colour for it, cause it looks like poor cleaning of a scan, I know its not, just looks like that. :D

I tried to get rid of the black/green areas on the sky , and added a text to it., because without, it seemed to be too empty.___.
Noooooooooo!! Don't change the background I loved it the way it was. It was so original and interesting. Not the usual sky/ground/tree crap, am tired of that. Plz go back to this one:
