Tips for improvement
Well, I've done 3d wallpapers mostly in the past and this is my 1st attempt to make an anime wallpaper with a 3d background. Any points for improvement? Celsius doesn't seem to fit well into the background >.<. You can check it out here
Thanks ^-^

It's a really interesting wall...nice 3D effect and making it have a feel like it's wrapping around her, but just 2 things, 1. i think you can do something about the font, cause you have a awesome bg and effects to it, so go the extra mile for the font, it really makes a diff. and 2. if there is a spotlight effect on her, then i think the shadowing that you did isn't right, so i guess there's another thing, other than that, looks good to me
I'll work on the font a bit later but how would I go about correcting the shadow? I admit that after taking a closer look, it seems rather unnatural.
Hmmm....for me you should change the fonts...hehe
I think the character is kinda blur. I like your 3D effect though, as for shadow, my suggestion is to re draw it, don't have any smarter idea from me...haha
Any suggestions on what font/effect I should use? Right now I'm brute forcing my way through my giant pile of fonts (used to be larger until i had to reformat comp). I take it that a nice snow and icy effect to the font would also make it nice, wouldn't you guys agree?
I am just fell weird with the shadow
but don't know why.
But this wall have a lot of potential

I think i know what's wrong with the shadow, it's smaller than Celsius... So if you take it into a mathematic perspective, the light source would have been bigger than Celsius and the shadow should've been more blurred. I'll have to either adjust the spotlight (thereby re-rendering the background >.<) or resize Celsius and make her smaller. As for the text...still working on it >.<
I resized Celsius and adjust the shadow. I changed the font to something a bit more elegant and played around with the effects until I got this cool effect :). So what do you guys think of it now? (link is still the same).
I think the scan is beautiful but too small! The background is little bit empty (on bottom) the background also too complexity! I like the font style but the word looks blurry!
P.s I know my english was bad, hope you can understood wat I'm wrote!

1.) scan is beautiful but too small - I had to scale it down due to the weird feeling when you compare Celsius and her shadow. Looks like I'll have to resize the spotlight so that i can make her and her shadow bigger.
2.) Background empty at the bottom - I originally wanted a plain empty icy floor, but I think it's time i played with the textures in blender >:)
3.) Background too complex - but...but...but...I like complex backgrounds :C. And this was the only way I could make a decent crystal background >.<.
4.) Blurry words - I tried to imitate a 3d effect by duplicating the text layer and applying motion blur on the lower one. It's suppose to be very very crisp on the png version but I'll try to sharpen it up w/o having to increase quality.
5.) bad english - don't worry, as long as english isn't your primary language then it's fine, but if it is... :X (i'll keep quiet now).

Ummm, please leave the original links for your previous versions. it's important to have something to compare to ;P
on to the wall...the 3d stuff if fine the way it is. my issue is with the surface she's on. the idea is nice but the color doesn't go with the rest of the wall. the scan size is fine but it looks alittle too blurry to me, sharpen that up a bit. the shadow looks odd to me (i'm not sure what it looked like originally but this one is off). not really liking the font you used, maybe it's not the font but the effects you put on it.
i would say this is almost ready but needs some tweaks. would floating snowflakes be too much?

new version
Some of the changes I did:
1.) Added a somewhat icy texture to the floor which resulted in making the spotlight very hard to see so I just took it out all together.
2.) Removed the shadow because the only very strong light source is in the back, so technically the shadow whould be casted somewhere beneath or behind the camera (she's in mid-air).
3.) Change the effect on the text from 3d to a simple drop shadow.
4.) Added snow flakes, somehow it made it look better but I may need to work out the placement... Hopefully I'll be able to create a snow particle system in blender to better emulate snow (seems to have issues with yafray).
5.) Removed the softglow effect on celsius making her less blurred
So what do you guys think now?

The font.. it's clashes... the snow... mmm... it needs like a snow fog or something... dont know so far I like it. But, the font is too simple. I think a Century Gothic might work... don't know.
Let's see, the first thing is i don't like the lense glare. at the bottom.
next, i'm thinking maybe you should lighten up the black parts to dark blue or something because they seem a bit out of place
I think the font is too fancy, usuallly, it's better to not have all that effect(gradient especially, unneeded shadows) here, it's okay to have like a kind of reflection, but make sure that it's upside down and it's not blurry.
Lastly, if it's possible, try making her a bit bigger, and then clean her up
C: good luck~
