This is my newest wallpaper. After having my last three rejected (even though one was good, I NEVER noticed since August how scratchy the foreground looked @~1@) and now being thrown in the negatives... I need to make something that will sure be accepted.

I had to remake this wallpaper a few times this night because I kept messing up details...

This time the .psd is still saved so any thing you might suggest to make it better would be very helpful

The background was a very simple vector (an old one i made mixed in with clouds).

I tried to add brushes but it didnt look right... if you think it is TOO plain and needs some brushes, ill try to come up with something, but what I did looked like crap (i have a faint idea now of how to do it decently ough)

Background too simple, but the extraction is good. Should place them in the midle if you change your bg.

The picture is cut off on both sides. On the right side its not so bad, but it would look really crappy to try and center it because the left side is cut off at her elbow so the image splits her arm =X

How about putting in a scene where they're in a street or in front of some buildings
about the extraction, i can see some white under rosette's gun-holding arm - try to fix that

Well, the scan is very clean and crisp, so try and match that look through the rest of the wall. I agree with Saa-chan, try playing around with the background. The Resource Pool group here has some links to good stock image sites. By using some stock images, filters, brushes, and creativity, you can make a great background. Just keep in mind the 'mood' of the wall. The scan image is sort of happy and upbeat, so any sort of dark background might not fit. Then again, you never know until you try! Good luck with this one!

Thanks for the comments everyone. I did add some brushes and finally came up with a background I could live with, also cleaned up the 2 tiny bits that didnt get cleaned up all the way

I can't wait to see it... It is a nice chara... XD
