I hear there are new things hows the story does anyone have any information? from what i've seen in images the characters don't look like any of the ones from the first game so is it a sequel/prequel, same world, or just a title thing like the Final Fantasy's do? is anyone else excited about this game?
Well I am really excited 
There will be more dating sim system applied here than Ar tonelico 1
And there will be a bathhouse
in the bathhouse you can arrange where the revytails bath
and cooking system where you can cook with the revytails
But I'm kinda disappointed that they choose Tony Taka (One of the Shining series artist) rather than the old chara designer
Cause Misha is so freakin awesome

But there maybe a chance you can meet Shurelia since she is 1500 years old

I didn't notice much difference in the image I saw, i guess it is kinda lame that they changed artists but I like T2 so not a big deal for me.

T2 is one of my favorite artist... I just hope the Hymmnos concerto stuffs will still exist.

I'm excited for this game! I'm almost gonna beat the first one and I love it. The 2nd one's characters don't look as good as the first one though =(

I even went through midnights by playing this game till the end...and it's interesting gamestyle and properties,lots of songs and sim dating but i don't like if there's too many of them.I hope the storyline is better or the same quality as the 1st one
and I hope the picture quality along with the characters' personality are well made
and I also hope for some characters from the 1st ArTonelico:Misha/Lyner/Aurica

Ar Tonelico is a RPG game with dating sim system. The hymms and the songs are pretty nice too. Lets hope that AT2 continue to amuse us with these kind of arts, songs and systems. =)

I didn't expect Ar Tonelico to have a 2nd game, as I know it did poorly in sales. Anyway, it will still take a long long time until an English version, if there will be one, comes out.
I really hope Ar Tonelico 2 don't take 1 year to get to US like Ar Tonelico 1
And I hope it does get to the US
since I can't read japanese
Beside, this kind of games is really rare
I don't think many developer except GUST will invest in this kind of games
Hope the story is better.([]-[])9 The first one sucked alot especially at the ending.

I am also eagerly awaiting this game. I picked up the first game only because I really liked the boxart and it was on sale for 15 bucks. Little did I know the RPG underneath was going to be as enjoyable as I found it to be.

I really liked ar tonelico 1 with its fairly old style non 3d game play. one thing i really hated was the lag and such during the fights, i do hope thats fixed in ar tonelico 2. i also love tony's art too but the first game's art is also very nice.
I can't wait for this game to come out. Personally, I kinda liked the first one. The battle system was pretty unique, and I liked it. I hope you get to meet characters from the old game... I wonder if Shimotsuki Haruka will still sing in this franchise...
