I first noticed it specifically when I went to the "Post your sexy self" topic located here. When I scroll down, it appears from the comments that people are actually showing pictures with each post, but all I am seeing is garbled text. I'll show a couple examples of these posts in italicized quotes which I have simply copied and pasted directly here.

Is anyone else noticing this? I even went so far as to check out the page using internet explorer 7 instead of firefox, but I am still getting gobbledy-gook instead of pictures. As well, this problem doesn't seem to be consistent. If I got to other forums, e.g, here, the pictures of the aurora display perfectly fine.

Any comments/suggestions on how to fix this problem, or if anybody recognizes what the text is trying to say, please do tell. I would very much like to see these pics!

It seems the html code isn't working on the thread... The rest, I'm not sure...

The thread dates back to the time when animepaper was based on either phpBB, Shii board and Invision Power Board 1.3 and 2. As the entries have not been converted entirely and the current script doesn't interpret the same php code, the thread will not display as expected.

Its isolated to only posts of that age.

As for reading it, all I can suggest is learning basic php and html.

But no way to see the actual pics huh?

Just copy the image url and paste it in the URL box.

The thread was created back in 2004/2005. So all the functions back then (I think we used PhpBB when AP was first created) worked a bit differently from how it works now.

I gotcha. I just went and checked; all of the new posts' pictures display properly. At least I know what's going on now, thanks very much.
