What type of super hero do you prefer?
I think I don't have any real preference, but I think I like the japanese superheroes. American superheroes are cool too, but they're very, like, REAL super. With exaggeration. Very strong, powerful, too many accessories and all this super-stuff. There's too much appeal, in my opinion. Of course there are exaggerated heroes in the animes too, but I think that a great part of it aren't THAT strong.
I usually prefer heroes with realistic adventures too, like not coming through space, other dimensions or super-special-and-no-sense powers. I think anime have more heroes with that characterization. Also superheroes that are normal people with extraordinary powers are my preference.
Of the american heroes, my favorite ones are Spider-man, Batman and Flash. I hate Superman. ¬¬'

And one last thing, when reading a comic, a manga, or watching an animation (always on that same subject "super hero") do you like it to be mature with relationships and tragedies or the normal classic one " the hero gets the girl" ?
Oh, I hate this "the hero gets the girl" thing, I think it's stupid. Mature relationships and tragedies are so much better and entertaining. American superheroe stories usually have this boring thing. They would be coolest if they hadn't this.

I'm everything, except realistic. But the ideal superhero should be someone who's protecting the innocent without killing anybody - or else he's one of the bad guys - then he/she must be gentle and charming.
I would have the kind of Hero thats willing to sacrifice himself just to protect the innocent and without any relationship with him. Yeah that would be cool.

I don´t really like this hero thing at all they are often just to much like Kira being the hero in Gundam seed and destiny, and superman and stuff like that. I don´t know why but I am almost kind of more intressted in those that are so not a hero. Those guys and girls in the background that often behaves more like real humans than the hero typ ever could do.
Spiderman will always be my superhero! i didn't really care for the marvel comic books but the movies got me hooked. he is just an average person like us but really is a superhero. i like it when the hero gets the girl. i mean any hero deserves the girl he wants
My ideal superhero would be a quiet, serious and lonely person, who is good person in general, but has a dark side, with realistic relationships, I just don't like those "the superhero gets the girl", I find it ridiculous to be honest. LOL, the environment, a fantasy world, where he sits by a lake, watches the flowing river and never says a word.

I likeheroes who are very human and dark. Maybe like nightcrawler. One who is not very loved.
I would like them to take an environment similar to real life.
I would like my hero to have mature relationships and tragedies.

I love very much heroes which sacrifice all for love!
I salute the person who reads lupin1981's post. But I pick Marvel.
Ok, my friends had a huge argument the other day saying wolverine is better than batman and this is better than that what ever... but i have to say I would love tou be Superman. I know he isnt the coolest looking superhero, but he got the best deal on powers.
Fly
move in sonic speed
see through stuff
blow hurricans out his mouth
bullet proof body
shoot lazers out his eye
Seriously, superman has probaly the best power out of all super heros

I'm a huge anime fan, but I've never considered any anime characters to be "superheroes". Yes, Goku is a hero, but is he really a superhero? Not in the sense of the word as we've learned it, I think. Japanese animation is anime, not Amercian animation. By the same token, American comic book heroes are superheroes, not Japanese ones. That's just the way I've always heard it.
That being the case, I'm a Marvel fan. DC heroes are great, but I prefer the storylines of the Marvel characters. I like superheroes with real-life issues and responsibilites, which is why I prefer the troubles of Peter Parker more than the "perfect" image of Superman. As for how the stories should end, superhero stories were originally created to alleviate the stress of the real world - for example, Superman was an uplifting image during the Great Depression. So I think superhero stories should remain, overall, optimistic in nature.

A super cool shrine maiden like Reimu! Or anyone of the touhou series actually~ They are just so damn awesome...
Or... hiro nakamura from Heroes has a cool power, telekinesis is also cool... and being able to go invisible is just pure ownage xD Anyway, they aren't really heroes, but they just have powers...
So, well... I don't like superheroes like superman, batman, spiderman or whatever... they are also way too known and people even made live action movies of them... I mean, come on, they are just comic heroes, not better than manga xD So... Anyway, but then I think batman is the best because he doesn't have any particular special ability unlike spiderman or superman... and just forget about weirdos like hulk (no offense xD)

As much as i like superman and batman, i have to say marvel superheros are the best. spiderman and the x-men especially seem to be so grounded in reality that it makes them all the more believable. i think its best for superheros to have some relationship to the real world, unlike superman who is completely fictional.
I like the marvel heroes such as x-men, spiderman.. but the kind of superhero that I really like is the ones from animes.. and since I'm a dragonball fan the one that I like the most is goku.
For me if the good guy gets the lady is good.. like kenshin and kaoru, goku and chi chi..
