need suggestions for a work in progress

This is my work in progress towards my first submission and any suggestions would be much appreciated

Hhhmmm...nice concept there...the
first thing that you should do is clean up the scan....because
it's so blurry...or vector it so it would be look nicer...
then fixed some little on the BG...then for the text...
find another one...it doesn't suit to the scan...hope this help you...

I like it and disagree on the text being wrong i think it suits the show good pick. as for what i think could be imporved a little is maybe some how adding a person from the show mecha is just so dull to me with out the people. but its just an idea. i really do thinks its great.

Definatly vector it. Then maybe get rid of the black bars at the top and bottom, they kinda clash. And possibly get rid of the lens flare when you vector it.
I went back through it and cleaned it up, dropped the bar off the top. It's less busy now, and thanks for pointers guys, I appreciate it!

anyways. if you are just beginning to wall, then it is important to choose a good scan, and read some tutorials on extraction and cleaning.

I'm very new to this so, and thank for the tute post, i hand't seen that one yet. I'm working and trying to make bebop cleaner, but the background is supposed to be hazed, thanks for the help.
