This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I've been in it for a couple years, but my work schedule isn't consistent at all. I'll do a whole lotta designing in one month but won't do anything for three months straight. Eh.

I started being interested the first time I touched a computer. Hell, I used to paste picture's of my brother's face on other pictures using MS Paint. That was around... grade 5 or so. I got Photoshop when I was grade 8, and now I'm grade 10. So... that's around two years, though I don't think I improved much. Compared to some of you who have only been walling for a month or so, I'm so ashamed even though I've been at it for longer. x.x

Wow sheesh. Hmm...I first started doodling on the pc using Paint on Windows 3.0 in 1990 on my fathers computer at work. Then it just went on from there, so 15-ish years.

Hmm well i started using photoshop recently (about 6 months or so). at first it was to try making signatures although that didn't turn out too well haha. however, i did use that experience and started making winamp skins.

right now, i'm interested in making vectors. need to get me a copy of illustrator first then try it out. eventually i hope to build my way up to wallpapers.

but if you count my paint days, i mastered paint a long time ago (probably around 3-4 years ago..although by now i forget the stuff :P)

Well, I started to use Photshop like 2 years ago. If not including MS Paint, 2 years that is. Hope to learn more from using it.

If you count me mucking about with Corel PhotoPaint [my version is super old and crap-for-brains] I've had that since I was in 4th grade...It didn't really do much...no layers, and deleting actions was so limited it wasn't even funny -__- But I guess it was my introduction, I finally started using photoshop heavily my first year of collge, so that would make it about two years using that. In that time I also dabbled a bit in illustrator and dreamweaver...All fun fun fun xD

Hm, I got Photoshop around one year and a half ago. But I had messed with Paint Shop Pro and MS Paint before. I'm not sure about those though, so I'll stick to a year and a half.

One full school class year then quit because I don't have Adobe Photoshop or a similiar program.

I started by designing a game demo pack for my GCSE Graphics project. That was about five years ago, and I was using Serif PagePlus, of all programs XD I then learnt InDesign during college and have been designing leaflets, posters and flyers for various purposes on an intermittent basis ever since. I started playing with Photoshop during high school as well, but have only been walling for about two years. Before that I was just an icon-making geek on LJ communities :P
