As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Not sure if the eyes look alright, need some expert comments on it... I think the eyebrows look a little weird.

Any comments on the vector in general are welcome too.

I would say its great since its a low resolution so i dunno how it would looks in a size a norml vector is .

If you wanna use it on a wallpaper so i have to say its really great work

It will be used as a wallpaper yea, the original size is much larger but I don't think its necessary to see it in full size since this will be the rough size of the character vector when it's used in a wallpaper.

I think that you should add some more contrast into the eye. I don't know much about vectoring, but I think I can still help.

Personally, I'd add some shine to the eye, and some respective black lines to it, which will help the contrast.

That's pretty much all I have to say.

Very well made vector~i can't wait to see the whole thing finished!
i don't see any problem with the eyes, but if i have to point out something, it would be the right eye is kind of too high up or the left one too low....
though more than that, i think you should leave the right bottom part of her dress/cloak smooth, instead of having the zigzag lines . same goes for the front part at bottom left of the dress

Thanks for all the comments, I guess I might just be a little too paranoid since it is my first time I tried drawing the eyes without basing on the original ><

I'll experiment with the zigzag lines, it was in the original and it made the image had a more 'sketchy' feel, but it might not work well with the vector, although I sort of like it hm...

But thanks for everything, now I can start doing the background...
