This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I threw a water bottle at my sis coz she threw my mp3. Before that she hit my arm yet my parents said nothing. And when she threw the mp3 they said nothing. I cried (fake but convincing) when she threw it. But when I threw the bottle they exploded.

Do you think Tetris, ummm... brain age, and all kind of puzzles are for losers, or geeks? this kind of games makes you use your mind and to some people this is boring or they say: why people play if they couldn't stop thinking?

Myself, I like puzzles, and I don't consider myself as a geek...well kinda hahaha but not that much, but lets face it: this games really gets you involved when is refering whe your traveling in your car, or un a bus, but playing them for a long time really is frsutrating haha

post, i know that every one has played puzzles

Wow, someone's on a geek inquiry kick.

Well, personally I don't see how any puzzle game, let alone Tetris, is a geek's only game. I know some popular people that love puzzle games, so uhhhh...kind of a moot point there Mugen12.

It always comes down to personal tastes and preferences. Sure, maybe more geeks prefer Tetris than cheerleaders, but it doesn't mean that just 'cause you play Tetris that you're a geek.

Geek? I usually don't see that association with people and tetris. I would associate Tetris players with people in the early 90's, which is kind of my generation. I'm not to sure how a game as simple as deleting rows warrants it as being a "geek" game.

I dont think that playing tetris or puzzle games makes you a geek.....but i do think that playing tetris is boring......its like watching the same stupid block going down at the speed of a snail to form a row and just dissappear......and you play it till you die.......its a never ending game......and you never know if you win but youll always know that youll lose once the idiot block reach the top......for me,i love Dr Mario......its much more fun.......

Nah, it doesn't make you a geek. It just means you're willing to play a vast variety of games. Almost everyone who plays games has played Tetris at least one point in their life and it's a highly revered game. If anything, games like Tetris and Brain Age are more like games for everyone to enjoy. They're not too complicated and anyone can just pick it up and play. These games are simple, yet they find a way to provide almost endless entertainment.

If these games are only for geeks, then you should say Sudoku is only for geeks too.

No way! Tetris is for everyone, well humans at least. I watched this 1 hour special on History channel (I think). And basically the reason that Tetris is so addictive is that it appeals to our basic needs. Genetically humans are builders, we try to find/create order from chaos. In Tetris the player is constantly bombarded with random chaotic objects in which you are to place them in an order. Of course there is no rule that states that you must, however without being told new players do.
But the real reason that Tetris succeeded was that if you made a mistake, you could still play, but that mistake would still be visible, a disruption in the order that you tried to create compelling you to play until it was repaired. And for all the order that you created, it would be wiped away just as quickly leaving you with nothing other than your score.
So by this analysis Tetris is perhaps the deepest video game ever made.

Tetris is definitely not a game for geeks. My friends play Tetris play tetris and they ar edefinitely not geeks. I feel that Tetris is one of those games that everyone play because it is easy to know the basics and everyone can ick up on the game. Tetris is old school. Other puzzle game son the other hand..maybe. It depends on the game I guess.

Tetris is more for everyone. I mean most people grew up playing it so they probably have fond memories playing it. Plus it's really addicting especially if you play vs. mode! My friend got everyone addicted because she's the LA county tetris champion and beat everyone! So now we all try to beat her...

I like playing tetris, not only is the game fun, it did have some catchy music as well. I think that it encourages problem solving in games because you have to get all of the peices to fit together. Sure it is repetitive, but it is also addicting in its own way.

Of course! They're not supposed to be in-depth gaming experience. No one can play Tetris for say 3 hours straight (not even geeks.. ^^ although these type of games has nothing to do with geeks, really). Puzzle games are made so everyone can have quick fun, and games with more advanced puzzles are directed for those people that like mental challenges.

Games are made just to entertain people when they have nothing else to do, but when you start going crazy about tetris and brag about how fast you can beat it, etc. You would probally be consider a geek.

Lol i was addicted to tetris a couple of weeks ago, playing it everytime i can. but no games like these aren't Nerdy. but they exercise the brain like when playing tetris and the pieces move really fast and your just about to lose, you quickly think on where to move the piece while in pressure.lol
