FFXIII: Next big hit or a crash and burner?
Well I'm going to say that it will be the best game on PS3 when it comes out. Even better than Lair, MGS4, Tekken 6 all of them. The graphics just looking amazing and everything. The battle system looks pretty easy to use. I would like to see actual game play to make sure the images are the real thing. Either way it will be good.
If it follows in trend with the more recent releases it'll be a total let down. Really they haven't made a good one since 8...

Even if it becomes the most popular game of all I won't really like FF13. I feel as though the series kind of dropped after FFX. I always liked FF beacuse of its "Fantasy" part, (as the name suggests), and lately the Final Fantasy games have moved on to politics and guns and whatnot @_@. I'll just treasure the fond memories of FF 1-10 in my mind XD.

As far as what I saw from the trailers and the screenshots Final Fantasy Xi looks great. The graphics looks amazing and the character models looks awesome. But great graphics aside... the main thing that will either make or break the game is the storyline and how well the story is told.

have there been any game play movies released yet?
It won't fail, if there are a lot of PS3 owners. I'm not saying there aren't that many sold (actually over 3 million that are officially sold), but probably won't sell that good since 1/3 of them would actually know what is Final Fantasy is.
There was only one final fantasy I dint like and that was XI so I will definitly enjoy this. And I don't think it will crash either, the final fantasy name is just too famous and glamorous that even if it was horrible people would buy it. It is one of the few things then can sell on just name alone.

I have them all (except 7) and enjoyed 8 and 10 the most. I don't know why i didn't buy the 12... Because i don't have time to play , i guess...

Not going to be as good as the rest... 12 was not that great as well, really just the same as #11 but not online, and 11 was not that good as well...It stoped being good after #10...After that it all want down hill...Thats what I think...

final fantasy Xi and PS3, what else would go wrong. like FFVII for PSone and FFX for PS2, i guess history will repeat itself or would it? but since they manage to really improve the system with the real time battle system, it would be different
the only thing that hangs now is the storyline and again, the insane optional boss with those ultimate weapons.

Final Fantasy XII was a great game. I don't really see what is wrong with it. I just hope Xi goes well and might even get people to buy PlayStation 3s. This will be Nomura's final Final Fantasy, so I'm sure he is going to try to make it a bang. There is not a lot of information right now, but hopefull all the things will turn out good for Final Fantasy Xi.
I love the game series and have all of them at current though i have a 360 not a ps3 so i wont be able to play 13 when released though i heard somewhere the game might be dual platform i hope so.
