Hai, I made this wallpaper like a month and a half ago and put it up on my website despite better judgement. This wallpaper needs help. I really like the concept, (Hai, I do. Suprisingly.) but it's lacking a little something that I can't pin-point.
If anyone's got any ideas for improvement, please post! But also tell me what you DO like. It helps me not only to know what I'm doing wrong, but what I'm doing right.

Ed cracks me up, but he's got his serious moments, which are the ones I wanted to portray. However, more of this, is strangly, Ed getting beat up. All the non-getting-beat up is hidden behind Ed & Al. Crap >

Al's body looks like it's missing the lower half? I suggest that you remove the red text in the background, or at least changing the colour, maybe black outlining white text? Otherwise, this wall looks ok to me.

what dhias said and allso put something in there that everybody would know if they saw the picture from eps 1-51 but not be that symbol know what i mean its relaly hard to pinpoint like you siad but maybie a mechanical arm or something and add al's body back hes sitting on eds arm!Al's body looks like it's missing the lower half? Cervan: Sorry, don't start talking about the anime as I've never seen it. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "something everyone would now if they saw the picture from eps 1-51." Also, I never did remove Al's body. That's the way the scan was. Maybe I will change the scan I use... It looks like it's causing problems

the first x__x/~ ow~ i liked the idea ... only the ed and al in colors... that seen like ... i dont know who to explain... but the image is in a strange quality ...
x__x try to pick cartoons without words... the second could be perfect if there's no words x__x behind him

I thought the words gave it a bit of character. Besides, it's not all that easy to find manga scans (that's what they are- not cartoons btw) that don't have words on them. I will look for alternitives, but I'm not sure what I'll come up with.
Perhaps by tracing the background, you can get rid of the bubbles and words? I also suggest that you don't overlay the character in front over the background.
Ed looks a bit ghosty thats all. I think you should take out all of the red words that mix in with the manga page.
Er, don't fade Ed into the background too much like that, it looks a little 'ghostly' as chowfun said. And as for the words in the manga itself, I don't think they're /that/ much of a problem, although I agree it would look a bit better without it. And the red text you have in there are kind of causing a distraction, my attention is diverted from Ed and the manga to the red text.

Ok one thing either overlay ed or dont overlay him thats about it and what i meant about sybols is liek an arm or a sybole look for them ^^

I'm still confused. I want to thing you're saying "symbols", but if you are, I've got no clue as to what symbols you mean. Do you mean the alchemy circle?
