I all!
This was my 1st wallpaper! (^_^)
I know, I need a lot of practice so give me ideias, critiques about my wallpaper and some topics to improve my experience ^^
This wallpaper represents the past of Kakashi (his team when he was young and the 4th hokage) and the present (were he are with his team ) (sorry my English -_-" if you don't understand some sentence you just need to say!).

I personally think there are too many repeated characters, Kakashi and Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke are shown twice, and Kakashi in the same side view. I recommend removing the central three characters and the Kakashi above it, and just leaving the two teams and their mentors on the side. To fill in the space in the middle, how about some yin-yang symbol or something similar?
I agree, a group wallpaper should not have so many repeated characters. Either replace them with others, fill in the space with something else, or make the existing group image bigger to take up more space (which might require some touching up since it seems a a lower resolution).

That was the problem with I came across when I saw that, I didn't have anything for for put in the middle and then I thought in put that image, but I also think that is a little repetitive :S

You could put down some heavy abstract with a lot of color and light contrast. ^^ Just a suggestion.
Personally I don't think you should mix anime and manga characters...
The characters from both left and right works well but I think the bunch in the middle can do without.
Also, if you are going to put the name for Kakashi, you might as well do it to the other side. ^^;
The backgrounds (thunders, line, etc) are nice but you can use some theme color to contrast the two sides. (i.e red and blue, or yellow and red)

The problem I see is that the group on the left and the group on the right both incline heavily toward the center, making it feels like there's a blackhole in the center sucking in everything. I think whatever you put in the center need to be further up front instead of in the back, so that the blackhole feel will be cancelled.
If this is what's called "destiny", then I will betray it immediately.

If I were you, I will center the attention on doing something with the left and right characters from the manga, also, I'll let be kakashi and the 4th hokage to, but changing their positions, I think it would be nice to see the young kakashi and the current one, and Naruto near the 4th.
