the whole background from scratch, this is what it looked like before I put all the crap on it

This was the most annoying background I've ever made, the shading, the perspective, and some other things I probably forgot to mention
anyways aside from the background everything else was pretty standard and easy, and something is still missing...so I need help
EDIT: Now I remember what I wanted to ask...how do I make it look like she's wet?

The bg is extremely well done O.O One major prob, the rain looks a bit weird. It just looks like a plain Photoshop filter, and we don't want that =P You may want to try blurring it and apply some concentrated rain around the char, that way, it'll look like the char is in the rain =/ hmm...you can also fool around with grunge textures for the bg to make it more expressive? =P Good luck with this wall, it's looking good~!
There's a good rain tutorial here. As for making her wet, how about cutting out some of her hair so it looks flatter and stuck to her head?
Oh man this is abosulately amazing I mean the rendering, what 3d program you use, I'm trying to get into 3d rendering myself, the bg looks beautiful man and not a lot people like dark themed walls I love them, bring out the contrast on your desktop and the icons, I'm really looking forward to it, yeah get the rain done it will probably be awesome.

added better rain and splashes, and tried to make her look wet...hope it looks okay
to xcf33: ARRRGH...I did everything in photoshop TT_TT it took me 3 hours and I could have easily done it in 20 mins in 3DSMAX...KAHH I'M SO STUPID *Bangs head against desk...
to dhias: thanks for the tutorial, and I tried to cut the hair but I kept geting these wierd white outlines when I tried to mask it, I try something else tomorrow
to highknees: um could you suggest any place that I could grunge up...I spent a whole hour on deciding if I should grunge up certain parts of the bg or not...and I still haven't decided...
anyways thanks for the comments everyone...I'm going to sleep...

I think it may be better to have the rain all in one direction? Right now it looks like it's falling in two directions...

here's the update, I fixed the rain direction thing, also played around with some texturing and grunging on the wall (don't know if that spot there looks right) and added more wetness to the scan, and some other minor tweaks

The newest version looks very nice compared to the one you started out with. =) The rain is much better, and the grunding on the wall looks fine.
Looking good! Only thing is the font? Maybe lighten the background behind the font so you can see it better?
Well it looks really good so far. Right now however the left side of the wall looks kind of empty maybe add a trashcan on the curb there. I think that some color would also do this wall some good maybe like her eyes or a single light like the one over the garageâ?¦. I guess give it a try and see what you think. I really like how it is coming along though.

I had a lot of homework yesterday, so I didn't really have time to play around with colouring and lighting alot, anyways here's the updated version

You need to darken the background... the black of her leather should match the shadow of the background so they blend. At the moment, she looks too dark and as a consequence stands out too much D: The rain effect is great though :P

Dude.. that person is really getting annoying. -_-;;; Anyway... your rain is still going different directions, and it's really destracting. u_u But other than that, I love the rest of the wall. (You also might want to make the BG darker, like Furikuu suggested)
