I liked it...but you could just improve the render and I think it will be cool

The design looks fine to me, but you'll need to address some image quality problems - there is a lot of artifacting going on in the wallpaper - along the edges and outlines of the scan, around the sakura petals and the trees as well. The gradient of the sky is also not smooth and is artifacted (blocks) in places. Please make sure you're saving the wallpaper at an appropriate quality setting; use file->save for web at around a 70% quality setting.

I don't think you'll need any more sakura petals, although some stars in the sky might be a nice addition.
