Tokio Hotel
Tokio Hotel - a popular German teeny-band. Do you know them? Many girls go crazy of them... Do you like their music?

so, for example in Lithuania, many girls, who love or like Tokio Hotel are EMO. One of my classmates even changed her style to emo thanks to Toko Hotel.

And many girls that I see in the streets who love Tokio Hotel have these style.
In Russia the situation is the same. Most Tokio Hotel fans are emo.
So, in your country how is the situation? I really am interesting in this...

When I first saw them, I thought the lead singer guy was a girl! He's all tiny and petite and very girly looking. Him and his brother don't really look alike at all. I can't remember which song it is, but the one with the video with them on the roof top was all right.

This is a post completely against Tokio Hotel and their music...better not continue if they are on your fav list...
1st, some thingies about me, I listen to metal...Death, Power, Doom, Grunge, Alternative, all kinds. No soft, respect for the classics and all that...and now for this band...
They are a disgrace to all things related to rock. They're so called celebrity means teenage (and less than teenage) girls crazy over the singer or the guitarist. I tried a comparison...them vs Coldplay and Oasis...the result is that their music is on a very low grade. Also, he has no voice...and his recent look resembles that of a woman, which is too weird...at least the JRockers lolita (or whatever) style is unique...he is a mixture of female + male...
At least in this country, all rockers (by rockers I mean people who like rock for what it is and don't listen to pop or hip-hop all day) share the same hatred for this band...
Also, note that I have personally listened to their first album...don't know it's name...it immediately ended up in the Recycle Bin...

I totaly agree with SWhisssper. I'm a Metal/Rock fan too and I think Tokio Hotel has nothing to do with Rock. I'm from Germany so I know the hype arround this band. I think 99% of their fans are girls, I don't know any boy who likes them. I think tis is because the girls like them because of their style and not their music. But nobody can like them only cuz of their music skills, because it's very amateur and the singer has no voice...

I must admit, that they had have luck to get a record-deal, but their music and singing, in my oppinion, isn't worth it!

Heehee...I never said I was in love with them. I prefer I am Ghost and Atreyu and Dir en grey. The music is all right...nothing more. They're popular because of the age group that they appeal too. Fangirls make you famous. I didn't know what was up with singer man's brother...he's all dressed in stuff that I would picture some rapper in and the drummer looks like Mr. I Look Average. They definitely have some growing up to do, age wise as well as musically. A lot of maturing needs to happen. But like I said, I don't hate them, but I definitely don't love them.
Fantastic band. I really enjoyed the Zimmer album, and watching some of their concerts (segiments) on youtube. I dont really know what it is about them, but their music can get addicting!
I also like them. And my country there is a popular group called Tokio. When I listen them, I think that both this groups are similar to each other.

I'm a girl but I can't really understand why some teeny girls shout their lungs out because of the guys. Btw, it's really hard to say for me if the front guy is really a guy :)
I don't like their style. For me it just looks like copying the style of some famous J-Rock Bands. The front leader is getting thinner with every minute and you can't really say he is a man.
The music is like most today. You can listen to it on CD (get ear-damage) but never listen to it in original (maybe your ears will fall apart). He really has no good voice, you don't understand anything.
I don't believe they will go to the "Bundeswehr". They are like VIP's and will get a special treatment.
But it would be really funny to see them there. Especially Tom and Bill. Imagine the feminine and girly-like Bill throbbing throught the mud :) :)

XD it sounds strange if english talking people use the german names of the songs. well im from germany and all my friends hate this band XD i dunno some songs arent that bad . but its better not to see the guys then you propably can enjoy some songs XD
