I started reading it, but it reminded me a lot of a mixture between Full Metal Alchemist and Bleach.
I stoped to read D.Gray Man because I didn't feel very interested, but maybe I should pick it up again, seeing how everybody says it gets better later in the story.
And I like Kanda too xD

Yea, It's one of my favorites too! Love the manga hate the anime it's so boring, I can't stand the fillers. 
My favorite character is rabi or lavi (whatever you call him XD) and tyki also.

One of my fav manga. The drawing style has changed...it's normal.. some of the mangaka also done the same thing (example: Saiyuki)
