People Who Don't Like Anime
I've heard sooo many that they don't like anime, and said that anime was retarded and dumb and all, when they have never even tried watching anime before. So what do you think about those kinds of people?

Well............I would say that they are retarded and dumb. But thats just me. Lets see what the seething masses have to say.

People that don't like anime BUT respect the people that enjoy it... I'm ok with them.
People that don't like anime AND insult the anime watchers... well, it's pretty stupid. It only shows their intolerance. It's like in the old 80s. People that didn't like Rock and Metal and were insulting the Metal fans because "omg the music is teh debil".
Everyone has the right to decide what they'll watch and what they won't. Not accepting this fact of life is a violation to each one's freedom to choose.

I Know A Lot Of People Who Doesnt Like Anime.."Especially My Friends And Family"...And They Judge Me...Telling Me Its Stupid And Its For Little Kids And To Grow Up.....And What I Dont Understand is That They Dont Judge My Drawings"its all anime"..They See It And They are like" O Cool I Like Your Picture Draw Me One"..So I Just Give Them A Stupid Look And Tell Them To Go Away...

Meh, those people jump to conclusions, and only think dragonball z and pokemon are anime (which they suck, and are targeted to younger audience in their crappy, american version).

I don't have nothing against peopleo who doesn't like anime, it's just a opinion but if one of them come to me just to say a lot of scrap for sur I'll be annoyed, there is nothing special about it, some people like something others don't and some love to disturb who doesn't agree with them.
I think it's their choice whether to like anime or not, but I think if some of them gave it a chance and given the right series they'd come over to our side ^_^

totally agree with u, i watch anime, if my friends don't watch them but respect me as a watcher/a fan, i don't mind...because you noe wat, THEY DIDNT EVEN TRY TO WATCH, THATS HOW DUMB THEY ARE, i used to say animes are crap and stuff, i didnt really watch any anime, in fact i havent really watched one before...but my bro mentioned me about the animes, and asked me to go for a try, i did, and i love them, 4 years ago...but still, some people think that it is stupid and stuff...in fact, they couldnt even be bothered, to just try to watch them...i believe, if they do, they will love aimes...

I can kinda see where the anime haters are coming from... i mean if you watch cartoon network and see anime then yes you would most likely run away real fast, I think if better animes then dbz, sailor moon, pokemon and stuff were on national television then poeple would see that anime just isn't about strange girl whos changes her clothes and glows alot in the process, or scarily muscular grunting male whos hair continually goes more up as he powers up or something... So its not really that they're ignorant (well they might be but i'm giving them the benefit of the doubt) its more that the environment around them doesent provide a good basis on what anime really means.

i think basically,in their mind, they just judge animes from their point of view through TV..really i don't think they noe much of an anime, and how interesting it is...

Look at Evangelion that is the most common anime ever but yet it's so deep that harly anyone understands the full meaning and story behind the story!! Yet people who hate anime would not understand the story.

I just can say, "if I like it, and you hate it, it's ok!" ^^ As long as I love it, I don;t care what other people say. I always on minority region except "I like anime"
