This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

mooks
My all time heroes are were all terrorists... Nelson Mandela, Che Guevara, Malcom X, Yasser Arafat... these people who all fought for the freedom of their countries are all terrorists- My granduncle, who fought for the independence of Kenya (my pops' home country)- was executed as a terrorist.
Although this is a completely different level from those plane-bombers and tube-bombers. BUT there is almost no distinguishing between the latter.

@LenasLover, I apologize for coming on so strong. I actually did take offense to the comment... My life-long friends and neighbors are from Iran and i work dilligently with them campaigning for the banishment of Sharia law and implimenting womens rights. Having lived closely with such wonderful people, studied and visited Iran- it is a place i have come to love.

However such efforts(Human rights campaigning, etc) have been hijacked to support certain political ends and foreign interests, and that's were the lines become blurred for most people- I become really emotional and defensive whenever people talk about Iran in such negative views...

I would be very interested to discuss on a much more serene and collected manner, as of how you came to such a conclusion... As well as Pearl Harbor- considering the sequence of events that led up to it (They kinda saw that one coming)- I'll just refrain myself for now... hope to have an amicable discussion between us...

It's cool mooks. I didn't mean for my comments to sound so cruel. And when I reread over them, they actually sound very much like a stereotypical redneck American. I'm not pro war. I'm very much against it in fact. And I do know a thing or two of world and American history- but I won't profess to be a buff on history or politics.

I am very sorry to hear about your great uncle. Contact me sometime if you'd like to talk. I would love to hear more about your friends and your efforts.
