whats your favourite japanese food??
I realllllllllly love terpanyaki! its soooo delicious! ummm yum yum oishi!! what about you guys??
Woah what a coincidence, yesterday I went to a japanese restaurant and tasted japanese food for the first time because of a otaku convention xD
I don't know the names, but I liked rice with crab and some things that looked like vegetables which were all orange and pink and tasted like soya...I also ate a thing similar to fried bread with little chocolate shavings on it which tasted like fritters.
And japanese waiters were so obliging! Right when you have finished one plate they came fast and silently and removed it (it was a buffet libre)
However I didn't like sake, all alcohol tastes exactly the same to me >_<

And I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad, The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had.
Oyakudon, Crab and Salmon sushi is awwessommme.
If any of you dont know what oyakudon is, it's fried chicken on top of vegetables, and egg, and a whole bunch of rice in a sauce (I dont know what kind) and it comes in this big cool-looking bowl!

Hands down everybody loves sushi, Eel is my favorite
Sushi, tempura and Katsudon for me please! he he! i love miso soup too.
Nothing beats a good bowl of miso soup and green tea *drools* I also like sushi

Other than fried tofu, which can be of any national origin, my favorite japanes cuisine is the spicy chopped scallop roll. God I love that stuff.
It's terribly stereotypical, but I just love sushi so much. When the amount of wasabi and firmness/stickiness is just right, it can't be beat for me. There are some kinds I don't really care for, however. Sushi with roe just isn't that tasty to me. Squid is too rubbery. And giant clam is too mushy.
Beef tataki is also very good. But generally at a Japanese restaurant sushi is what I want the most.

I can't remember what it's called - the name's rather long; Tori Teba somethingsomething... - anyway, it's chicken wings that have been fried (?) and served in vinegar with vegetables...Yummy stuff. I can never seem to finish it, though. XD
We have a Teppanyaki steak house here where I live, they have the best food I've ever tasted, even the sushi was all kinds of tasty.

Alaska roll with avocados, lettuce, and salmon wrapped in seaweed and rice. A sprinkle of sesame seed on top.
