Ive noticed that there are a lot of people out there who hate uchia sasuke and characters like him. i personaly think the guy is really cool. and totally understand why he is the way he is. i dont understand why people call him whiney or whatever... HIS BROTHER KILLED HIS ENTIRE FAMILY... THEN TOLD HIM HE WOULD LEAVE HIM ALIVE SO THAT HE COULD KILL HIM. i mean how else do you react to that besides... becoming obsessed with killing the guy?
but i have friend's who's hate for sasuke has carried over into other series. they wont give prince of tennis a chance because ryoma resembles him. and they constantly bash on aoshi from kenshin and hiei from yu yu hakusho.
anyone out there willing to shed some light on the closed mindedness...? cause i dont get it at all...

Revenge will solve nothing, it will not bring back the ones that died to kill their killer. Sasuke is blind to see what he's been doing. He has hurt Naruto badly and he is willing to do anything to have power to destroy his older brother Itachi. Look at Kakashi, all his loved ones besides Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke are dead because they were killed and you don't see him going berserk to take revenge. Sasuke's goal has hurt everyone near him and will soon bring him to his downfall. I can understand his anger, but revenge will solve nothing and it will only lead him further into the darkness and that's why revenge is wrong.
Sasuke is a single-minded character. Characters make a show interesting. Therefore, Sasuke is not interesting.
It's like, Sasuke is... boring. Sure he has all these awesome powers, but so does every other emo-angsty-brooding-dark character with a shady past. It's very cliche. Sooo cliche.
That's why I dislike Sasuke.

Hey... i didnt say i condoned what he did. i only said that i understood why he did it. andas for being a boring character. dont agree.
^in the beginning i really did like sasuke's character as he got closer to naruto and stuff everything was fine until he decided to leave and goto Oro and hurt naruto even after what Kakashi told him and such he didn't listen... he is very onesided character as someone mentioned above and what he did absolutely disgusted me... don't get my wrong my fav char is Naruto is Itachi... I love Itachi for being who he is and his character intrigued me to find out more about him while Sasuke... his whining about revenge and stuff just got to me... he has people that love him there and dan yet he is willing to leave dam and hurt dam for such thing as revenge... i dunno... thats probably the main reason i started to dislike his character and for the fact he went to ORO for help when obviously ORO lost to Itachi and ORO only gives him fake dark powers with the seal he became so low... -_-

Theres not much characters like him (Sasuke).
Is like comparing Gundam seed destiny; where shinn is very like sasuke. Personlity wise.
It gives me and interseting show. I wouldnt want to watch "Hero defeats evil, happy ending! THE END"
now thats just damn boring. IMO.

I really liked sasuke in the beginning of the series... but that did not last long... not that i hate him, its just that he has become arrogant (something like that you know) T_T...
Yes! I hate him! He is arrogant with he special power "SHARINGAN"! X_X Then, I hate both people in team "AKATSUKI"!@_@ I really like GAARA, KAKASHI,IRUKA & ... ^O^ Bcoz they are handsome & POWERFUL! ^o^

I don't really like Sasuke, but it doesn't mean that i hate him.Why i don't really like him?
because he is arrogant, a little bit snot nosed, & he just can't accept the reality that Naruto is stronger than him (of course, because naruto have kyubi inside him...)

His betrayal of konoha isnt even the most annoying thing to me, its that he knows Oro just wants his body, if he had arrived on time, he would be dead, or whatever happens when oro takes your body. So he knows that oro has no interest in helping with his revenge, its pretty obvious hes just gunna be used like oro always does. I guess thats the reason oro has managed so far, hes just powerful at manipulating people.
I think he is too stereotypical. strong, mean, serious, macho and stuff. that's why a lot of people don't like him. imho.
I heard that sasuke was gay, and he kissed Naruto. So I really hate him.
