I'm in year 12 right now or the final year of secondary schooling years and i was wondering is anyone here is the same. there's a lot of stress for this year and i was wondering how people dealt with the stress of work loads and dead lines for submission of homework , assignments ... also exams. its a real bummer. you have to study sooo much. how about you guys. whats your method of dealing with stress in school?

Im not actually in my last years of secondary but my last year at my school. my school only starts form 7-10 sooo it my last year at this school ... we gota to do alot of homework as well (getting ready for VCE) -.-" and it only year 10
I graduated from college over 2 years ago. The last two semesters were a breeze. I know a lot of other people were freaking out, but mine was simple. I was nervous about finding a job, though. I was lucky there as well- took a job with my internship.
Well..i am in my last year
and on the last year, i have to sit for an important exams...almost like Entrance exam or Graduating Exams, something like tat i guess
Well, my opinion is, i knew tat this is my last and only year, tats where my lazyness grow rapidly.
I don't think i can concentrate coz all in my head now was online games => Maple Story
Hehe...guess wat, on my semester break, i did badly >.< and i was prepared to get a fire bomb from my mum>.<
I guess have to try harder even more...
Anyway, lets gambatte together ^.^

I breezed through doing the minimal amount of work for the maximal amount of gain (or so i thought), although now I regret not putting in a little more effort and doing better because getting a fellowship or TAship is realy nice (~$1400 a month) for very little work, plus you get your masters or doctorate for free and can go on to another cushy gig at a Uni or CC. I think i'm going to try to backdoor my way into the graduate program, hopefully nab a TAship in a quarter.
I'm in my junior year of college here at Missouri Western State University, and I have a lot of worries. My scholarships run out in 4 more semesters, so I'm either going to have to change my major or take out more loans for a fifth year. I really don't want to take out anymore loans than I need, because I already owe almost 8,000 dollars and I know that I'm going to have to pay that all back someday. I don't want to be like my brother who owed almost 35,000 when he graduated college.
Also, being an art major is really stressful because there is always someone in the department who is a better artist, and it's really hard to get the high grades I need for my scholarship when everyone else is always challenging you. (I have to keep a 3.5 for my President's scholarship, which pays 3500 a year.) The stress of college is endless, but I can't complain because I met my fiance and a lot of other wonderful people here.

I've already finished up with school, but there were a few things I used to deal with the stress. Probably the most important thing was listening to my music. I always had my CD player in pocket, and the beat in my ears. Next I would do chores around the house that required almost no thought whatsoever. Insted of vacuming, I would sweep. Insted of using the dishwasher, I would wash by hand. Little things like that helped me alot.
Oh yeah, then there was my whole dancing in the middle of the street under the full moon's light, but I don't know if your into that kind of thing.

I AM DONE WITH HIGH SCHOOL! DONE. I'm sixteen years old and I'm done with my school mainly because high school only lasts for five years but those have been some of the challenging years of my life especially during my last years when I had a big external examination a month ago. Boy was that hard but that's all in the past now and I just got back from my prom after througly enjoying myself.
Senior in High-School.

Next year would be my last.
To be honest, I'm excited.
I've dropped all boring science credits and chose all business.
Also, in second Semester, I've picked gr.12 art, my favorite,
and gr.10 Food, which I'll be enjoying.
I also cant wait till University... till I get out of home!
So, I CANT WAIT FOR MY LAST YEAR!!
So excited...

Yep, I’m in my final year of high school! Still got about one more semester left, just finished my mid term exams yesterday! =)
Been working hard, but then kinda lazy! I usually study till late! It’s a bad habit, cos then I don’t sleep till late, one time I stayed up doing an assignment till about almost 3am in the morning and couldn’t sleep till about 4am and I woke up feeling so hyper, then later through the day I left so dead!
Dead lines are real important if you don’t hand it in, you’ll get ZERO, but sometimes when you only have a class of three, you can convince the teacher to move the due date till later because half the class hasn’t done it yet!
There isn’t always a lot of homework, but then there is at the same time with projects essays and oral and stuff all due around the same time! It’s crazy! For the subjects I do, I only have to sit 4 exams out of the five subjects I do! And one of them doesn’t really count. But there's a lot to learn!! >___<”
How I deal with stress is watch anime and play games till about 1am in the morning when there's nothing due! But then I always think in the back of my head that I should be studying for the next test coming up in two weeks! another way of not being too stressed out about it is to sulk and complain how hard 12th grade it!
If I know there is a lot to do, and then I spread my subjects out and try to do a draft of each one, get someone to check it and then write the god copy, should do this when you first get the assignment! Not at the last minute.
