Do you garden? If so, what do you like to plant?
I'm not a HUGE gardener, but since working for a garden store I've gotten rather into it.
Since it's getting to be late fall where I live, I've mainly planted some mums- hoping they'll last the winter and come back next year, and a few bulbs.
My brother laughs and says it's a waste of time and energy to plant all the flowers but it's really relaxing and improves the look of my home. Even if deer keep eating the pansy plants >__>

I definately plan to have a small garden after I move into a real house. My grandfather had an extensive garden when I was little with all the common vegetables. He also had a few fruit trees. Back at my parents house, we have two gigantic pear trees that produce wagons full of pears each year. These pairs are wild, so they don't taste as sweet and aren't as soft as stuff you buy in the store, but they are pesticide free, and soften up wonderfully in sugar water. Down here, I have a few friends with Banana trees, and those are pretty good.
I don't like garden. I just don't like the fact that I have to sit outside of the sun and working with dirt. When I was young, my parents made me do that every weekend. It was like pushiment during the weekend.
But if I can, I want to have a Tulip Garden.

No, but my dad does and he wants to grow his own fruits and vegetablees and stuff from it. lol. he's such a sucker, no... actually, i think gardening's kinda cool, but he'd never trust me with it. he has a lot of rosebushes and the neighbors like to steal them (i'm not even kidding. lol.) anyways, yea, we have a garden...
We always grow TONS of veggies. Organic and biodynamic, of course. You just can't buy decent fruits and veggies at the store; they don't remotely compare to homegrown.
Flowers, as well. We build ecosystems. Attract the butterflies and bees and birds and wildlife.
Oh man, I am definitely getting some pear trees. And apple. I'll be making perry and cider all the livelong day!

I like to plant flowers, like roses or tulips, but my mom plants some fruits and spices too in our garden.

I grew some raspberries for a science project. After it was over, I forgot about them. Whoops!
I'm a sorta gardener, but i don't garden often because of time.
i did horticulture at school last year at school so i know bit of this and that to keep my garden nice and healthy.
i occasionally water the garden and weed (i used to truthfully... =_=) and i tell my dad to get the right herbicide xD
at the moment, gardening is a big no-no for me coz i've kinda bad hay fever and i'd rather not expose myself to extra pollen than there already is. ^^"

Oh heck, yes, the herb garden. I gotta have my fresh herbs. Lots and lots of them. I go through soo much basil and oregano, to say nothing of rosemary and tarragon and sage and thyme and mint ... I'm always harvesting something. Most useful patch of ground I have.
I once grew a bean when I was in elementary school, after that I can't even take care of myself, no it's impossible to look after a garden, plus the fact that I don't really like plants

Oh yeah i garden! i have lots of flowers. i have a pumpkin plant, a manga tree, papaya tree, all types of hawaiian plants, i have tons of vegetables too. haha my garden is like full of stuff :P
I don't garden. But I have a kinds of indoor plants. I have a kinds of voilets. Those are my favorites.
I love my garden, I grow over 150 types of herbs. Weeding really sucks but I have lots of ponds and seats in my garden, so there are plenty of places to sit down and relax. I've taken several horticulture courses so I know the proper way to kill plants :) I love roses to death and I have terrible luck trying to keep ferns alive :) But other then that I've been told that I have a green thumb, but I think I know just when to ignore the plants :) I've never had a lot of money to buy expensive things so I've created my garden with things around the property, mostly preloved items. I love collecting different plants, I have over 15 types of Mint and about 16 types of Strawberries (which are herbs). I live in a cool climate so I'm really proud of my flourishing banana's and ginger.
I actually used to hate gardening, but the past summer my mother made me plant some flowers in our yard, just to show that I could. And so I did, and I really had fun. For some reason I'm not very good with vegetables and the like, but I LOVE planting flowers. It's so nice watering them and watching them grow during the spring, and then it's completely satisfying when they're fully grown and all beautiful. ^^
