excel saga is pretty cool. if you like it, you should try out "ABENOBASHI MAHOU SHOTENGAI" if you havent already..

Another good spoof is the spoof of Excel Saga, which is Poey Poey Pomei. Which I think is more of a mind trip then Excel Saga. Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobash is very good as well.

Excel Saga`s really good, even funnier than puni puni poemi for me :) the funniest anime has to be fmp fumoffu, that one makes you laugh way too much xD

Ah, FMP Fumoffu -was- good. =D Not that I didn't like The Second Raid and the first season.
But Excel Saga has to be the weirdest I've seen so far =)

I LOVE Excel Saga, Hyatt is my favorite character, her and Menchi! I have the series and I must say I usually watch an episode every day, lol, its a nice break from Noir and Lain and such :P

I loved both with a passion and Nabeshin was definately my favorite character in both.
The anime is crazy, very OTT but oh so reptitive.. its sort of a 'Love it' or 'Hate it' thing. I liked it though :)
Don't forget FLCL! That anime was pretty crazy too I think, from the same studio of Abenobashi (Gainax). Haven't watched Excel Saga yet though. What group do you recommend?
A hilarious Anime IMO is Puni Puni Poemi. The Magical Girl Parody... Japanese-rattle mouth Girl, very hectic and the way her transformation sequence is goin'...
Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu is crazy, and so is Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan. :D

Excel Saga is insane. She dies at least once in every episode, the first episode was hilarious because of that, I still think Fumoffu is the funniest anime out there. Nothing can beat the hot springs episode. That was the funniest thing I have ever seen. The art field trip is a close second.
While regarding my new Avatar... I must say... the very first Dragonball saga was hilarious. Son Goku meeting Bulma, and driving her insane because of his lack of General Knowledge, his naivity, and lack about "some human manners". I can give you so many examples of scenes that I remember from that...but it would take to long to list'em all...
